"Many MP’s both leave and remain accept this idea. Isnt it time we make it work."
We have that now, with tip top premium terms. We’re in the middle of negotiating weaker terms for ourselves. |

Exactly - I totally don’t get where people are with the part in, part out bit. Whilst I am vehemently opposed to No Deal, I just can’t see why you would give up what we have, unless we went for No Deal!
No Deal is madness, but we then fully do our own destiny - however bad that becomes! Staying we get influence, veto, massive benefits; but anything in between is such an appalling useless compromise, why would you!? |

"If you mean a free trade agreement yes but nothing else,EFTA was and is the way things should be"
Meaning accept new regulations as defined by the EU?
Meaning allow the free movement of people to live and work within the Schengen area rather than outside it?
Meaning pay for membership? (Norway pays a similar amount per head as the UK does)
EFTA is outside the EU.
Is this arrangement worth leaving for considering we remain outside much of the closer union anyway and can continue to do so? |
