MPs voted to extend Brexit to June, but the majority of those voting against an extension were Tory. So they voted against all May's deals, voted against no deal and now they voted against an extension. What do they want exactly? |

I think most just want it to all go away if they are perfectly honest
The whole thing had caused them a big headache

They want the most extreme damaging Brexit possible. As per the ERG. |

This is it. Most Tories would like a ‘no deal Brexit’ as they personally hope to profit from the privatisation and deregulation that follows.

Well the ones who voted against no deal and everything else I'd guess want no Brexit at all. |

I don't see the point of them anyway seen as they are non binding? They are only gaining the sentiment of Parliament and letting May do all the heavy work. If she can't get any significant changes to the agreement or if the EU don't grant an extension, then we fall out on the 29th? |

Presumably yes. I follow how my local mp votes. Looking at the record for the Tories is too depressing. |

What I am hoping for is an overwhelming vote at the European elections for non Brexit candidates and for all Tory MPs who have voted for this mess (including mine, in a Remain voting constituency) to lose there seats. They are all charlatans who do not deserve the salary and privilege of being an MP |

An easy life where they can turn up twice a week for an hour or two, vote on some load of twaddle that will make no difference to anybody then shoot off to another high paying job and wait around 15 years to get your mits on a nice big fat index linked pension while recieving £1500 quid a week pocket money and putting every single conceivable expenditure on expenses and all while declaring it's a really tough job that doesn't pay half as well as they could get in the private sector |

I think many want it to go on forever so we do not leave. Some want to stop an election taking place etc.of course all this costs money to the country, and business. It will cost more in the long run than a no deal brexit of course

People were lied to, and just over 1/3 of eligible voters actually voted to leave - so nearly 2/3 either didn’t vote or voted to stay. This is why Brexiteers are not in a majority in the UK and why it is essentially impossible to reach a solution that works - most people did not & do not want to leave. |

If people chose not to vote then they surely agree with the majority they knew by not voting this is what happens so you cant say they voted to stay because they didnt. |

But you can say they agree with the majority? If 50.1% of the voting population had voted Brexit then the answer would be clear. Only 37.4% of voters actually chose to leave. So we are well off a majority of voters voting to leave. |

We need another vote for brexit now that all the false promises of leaving have been exposed. What I would have done is come up with a leave deal which the EU will agreed to before having the brexit vote in the first place. |

If we’re being objective. The sensible thing to do would have been, straight after the referendum, each party prepare and present a plan for exiting the E.U. and how they would deal with the situation, then hold a general election to see which party and which flavour of Brexit people wanted. Then proceed to deal with the E.U. all before triggering article 50.
Triggering article 50 with no clue what to do was stupid.

They should have got to agree as a party, specifically what they wanted after the referendum, preventing almost 3 years to only get to this position - having wasted £billions.
A true leader would have delayed Article 50, until they were ready and in agreement. May has let her minority extremists dictate the process and demands - it's incompetency and lunacy combined. |

"If 500 of our 600 or so mps voted remain ..guess what u end up with ....they represent themselves not the great majority.
.shit bags all of them"
Actually they represent the whole country, and that includes the 16.1 million that voted Remain, the 13.0 million that didn't vote, as well as the 17.4 million that voted to leave.

It has been said that in the referendum people didn't know what they voted for ,,,, this was shown clearly in parliament to be true in the case of MPs ,,,, The Brexit secretary concluded the debate by urging MPs to vote for the government,,,, then he promptly voted against the government |

Well thought out response!
Actually no, it’s entirely correct and that is just your ignorance playing up again.
Where have you been living to not know that the Tories like to privatise everything? What’s happening to our NHS right now? There are over 60 Tory MPs with links to private healthcare. Their former largest donor, Lord Ashcroft made his money in private healthcare.
The Tories generally want to privatise and deregulate - this is why many want to leave the EU with ‘no deal’.

The results of the last European Parliament MEP elections in the UK in 2014 were as follows.
Ukip - 24 MEPs
Labour - 20 MEP's
Conservative - 19 MEP's
Green - 3 MEP's
SNP - 2 MEP's
Lib dems - 1 MEP
Sinn Fein - 1 MEP
DUP - 1 MEP
Plaid Cymru - 1 MEP
Ulster Unionist party - 1 MEP
As you can see Ukip were the clear winners with 4 more MEP's than Labour, and got 5 more than the Conservatives.
Glad to be of service.
