Very interesting way of putting it.
Perhaps this is why the people of the UK repeatedly vote against their own interests. They have a soldier mindset.
Not surprising considering we have been invaded many times through the ages and islands tend to keep things locked in somewhat because of the sea acting as a natural barrier, including genetics. So perhaps our war like nature is acting against us more than in other nations.
We need to start thinking like scouts or we will forever be open to simple manipulations. |
