I wouldn't accept the choice offered.
I am on the right but not of the right. I oppose racism but accept I have been racist and probably still am subconsciously sometimes. I'm strongly in favour of helping others and believe that society and the state have a duty of care to all, which includes financial support for those unable to adequately care for themselves.
I simply don't accept that the left is loony and the right is racist. In my own personal experience I've met many on the left who are racist and many on the right who are not. I've met many on the right who are loony and many on the left who are not.
I think a better choice would be nationalist right Vs loony left. Given that choice I think I would reluctantly go with nationalist right but wouldn't really be happy with either. |
