near ipswich

good to see brampton manor academy school in east ham one of londons poorest areas doing so well,41 pupils from their 6th form have been offered places in either oxford or cambridge.Just shows what a well run academy can do.

Actually, it shows what a highly selective sixth form can achieve

some are good some are bad the one where i live has serious problems with bullying that they seem to sweep under the carpet they also having there finances looked at. in some cases they are good but in some cases just because you call it an acadamy dont meen you can polish a turd

These sorts of outcomes are what you'd expect when only the most able 16 year olds are admitted to the sixth form. Ultra selection should give this sort of level of achievement....it's not rocket science.
