"So what do we think will happen today?
I predict TM will survive the vote
Then go back to the EU
Unfortunately the EU won’t help with a better deal
And it will be no deal brexit "

Being negative again!
Both the UK government and the EU have stated the backstop is last resort!
Liam Fox reckons trade deal is easy - 20 months should be enough time!
Technology can sort the border, got 20 months to develop and install it-the British government has a proven track record with regards to introducing new technologies! |

She will survive this vote.
Do any Tory MPs despise her enough to take down their own Government?
Only if they think it will precipitate her resignation and give them 14 days to find a new, temporary PM.
Too many risks there, but we know some seem hell-bent on destruction, so who knows.
If she survives and continues, Labour’s only remaining card to play is the referendum.
That could be an amendment to the Plan B that Mrs May must bring forward by Monday.
But a referendum on what?
Does Corbyn want to be smeared as the politician who would not accept the 2016 result? |

No deal Brexit is what was voted for by the people.
There wasn’t a option for abit in abit out.
Leave means leave. We should leave with no deal and go on WTO rules.
Problem is we have a remoaner PM handling negotiations which will always end badly. She should have never taken power.
If however we remain in the eu, democracy has fallen and we might as well become a dictatorship. There most likely will be riots and possibly a civil war.
Give the people what they voted for!

I hope she will win and expose Jeremy Corbyn as the hypocrite that we all know he is by saying enough is enough and that a new referendum is required to break the stalemate.
I'm afraid this process has been necessary to expose him and his party's sham unity over this matter.
A new referendum will be horrible and divisive but it is needed, anyone with an ounce of common sense knows it, I personally don't want one. I think we should accept the deal on offer but I am happy to be given another opportunity to vote if given |

No it wasn't..
The leave side were saying vote leave and we will have countries begging us to trade and we can sort it all out quickly and simply..
They did not say vote leave and we will face an economic meltdown, that it'll be OK if your a car worker and not paid as the components for the production line are stuck on a lorry but don't worry..
The reality has still not dawned has it that promising the earth is complete twaddle..
Where is the plan? |

"Could you imagine what the french would do if they voted to leave and their government wanted another vote? I do admire them for taking no shit from their government."
Not sure the French would have been taken in with the promises written on a bus from the higher echelons and millionaires playing politics with their jobs and futures. |

That's nonsense as none of that was on the ballot paper. The question on the ballot paper said remain or leave. The country voted Leave. The deal is dead so that means we must now leave on no deal WTO rules. A no deal respects democracy and still delivers on the referendum result. |

why do you keep pushing forward with an idea that even your economist of choice, patrick minford, and his chums the economists for brexit freely admit will decimate the uk manufacturing and agri-food industries.....
is that the "collateral damage" worth paying? |

It was what was said, i have clearly not said it was on the paper which you well knew..
So you are now saying there are no economic negatives to just walking away with no deal?
what happened to your managed no deal deal?
No one in the leave camp however they were branded said the reality was anywhere near what any sensible person can now see may happen with no deal..
it was a con, ok you fell for it i get that it must hurt being mugged off by the likes of banks, mogg and the other multi millionaires who will share none of the pain a no deal will bring..
or do actually not give a fuck about that so you can waltz about gloating .. |

It also contradicts every statement made by the Leave campaign promising new arrangements with the EU that would be even better than the old ones. No deal was repeatedly denied because, we were told, for example, German car-makers would not allow it.
You are re-writing history, yet again, so that you can keep building castles in the sand. |

They are the leave sides experts who people were quoting on here in the run up to the vote..
so if you now don't believe any of these experts and economists what do you base your belief in that it will all be ok..
Mogg, Boris, Farage etc?
its the reasoning and logic of saying i don't believe the guy in the garage who has listened to the obvious noise from my gearbox and that i can't get it in fifth as some other guys in other garages are known to be dodgy..
maybe i should consult the local road sweep or just keep driving around.. |

It's tough - I don't think the government will fail the confidence vote: the conservative reps will be too scared of losing power, depsite many voting against their government.
It would be ideal to have a general election transpire from this, so that all parties craft their plans for how to progress from this point. But it's not going to come straight away I think.
There's a huge risk of a no deal brexit but also there are other options - I'm just uncertain what is going to happen. |
