He basically defined what an MPs duty is."
Yeah watched it again just to please you and still disagree with him.They are elected by the people to do what the people want thats why we can kick them out every 5 years if they dont and get people in who can.A dictatorship is when people get the power and disregard the people,exactly what he is proposing.I dont want someone in the job telling me what i put him there for i know to do what the people want. |

You have a rather simplistic view of the situation but thanks for making it clear!
I think you've tweaked the definition of dictatorship to suit your agenda also.
Do you not think May has being trying to act in a dictatorial fashion in the past 2 years? |

No he didn't he pointed out that MP should look after peoples interest even if it against their views...that's a lot different..It's also why we don't have the death penalty and homosexuality was decriminalised are you calling Roy Jenkins and Harold Wilson Dictators? |

Goes against our political system? How exactly? 
Parliament voted by overwhelming majority to have the referendum. Parliament said they would let the people decide our membership of the EU and they would enact the result of the referendum. A referendum is direct democracy, it is the purest form of democracy there is. The people voted to Leave. |

 Exactly, you hit the nail on the head. If Eddie wants to be pedantic about numbers then Lammy thinks he knows better than 17.4 million people. |

May has been trying to deliver on the referendum result over the last 2 years. It appears David Lammy just wants to ignore the referendum result completely. |
