Former Chancellor and prominent brexiteer Lord Lawson is quitting France. Some may say very patriotic returning to show support for his new global britain vision! Alas no, he's been rumbled - breaking the rules - playing the system. Well as a member of the House of Lords and claiming attendance allowance he has to be resident in the UK. Lord Lawson now living in France and attends HoL 3-4 days a week ( must be a nice package ), as a result of brexit needs a resident visa in France! He can't do both so shot himself in the foot! Surely you would have thought he would have known the rules, and that the HoL rule makers would have flagged this up earlier?
