Trump - what now?

So...the ‘third man in the room’ was indeed Trump. What now- impeachment, censoring, trial once term over?

Place your bets here- offering highest odds on the last one unless by some absolute miracle he becomes a true leader rather than a complete egotist

Dangerous presidents tend to come to bad ends historically but this monster seems to be teflon coated. Robert Mueller is not one for letting go though so I reckon you could well be right on the money.

Is that not irony?

Given your obvious worry about your perceptions, wrong in my opinion on people in the UK of the Muslim faith?

I would say lock him up but it's a bit early for that yet..

Being honest I have never worried about terrorism, be that in your own fair Isle, abroad or here. Being aware and keeping an eye out yes but not worrying about something that is less likely to impact on myself and my own than a d*unken driver..

So the mob boss gets a get out of jail card?

That sends the wrong message to every one in regards to the rule of law-no one is above the law. It undermines the legitimacy of democracy and the legislative branch in the eyes of all folks watching (foreign and national) justice has to prevail even for a sitting President.

The balance between negative image it portrays of the US-short term embarrassment- outweighs the long term benefit and strengthens the ideology of democracy and the legislative branches.

I cannot see it going any other route but justice. Jail term is my prediction (how long? i dont know) and codifying norms he has disregarded to prevent a future authoritarian leader coming to power.

And will the pitch forks be out if/when he gets a second term or will it be the Russians/Putin helping him gain a second term again ...where is the hard evidence that he committed any wrong doing because as far as i can see since he ran for office and has been in office he's has been accused of everything short of the crucifixion of Christ...and so far nothing..

You're right were in the present and that future event hasn't occurred yet. A rational person can see from the evidence;

1.) filings that "Individual 1" will be indicted on campaign finance under state offence.

2.) Russian interference in election campaign after a dozen or more Russians and several US campaign officials convicted under a federal case

Both of the above headed by the mob boss who at least had knowledge.

But i do concede he maybe cleared, if and only if, I was living under a rock and gave up on reality and reasoning.

I read a piece today that the inauguration ceremony is under criminal investigation.

It appears the invoices don't match what was actually delivered - some people made millions of $ out of it apparently.

Plus sealed grand jury hearing today, they blocked off the whole floor of the court. From what I read today (and speculation) it looks like an appeal by mob boss regarding Special Council subpoena-the boss has been subpoenaed months ago lol

To be honest I would be more than happy if his hair spontaneously combusted and we could all see him as he really is, a vain and ignorant old man who has no real idea of what he is doing and could not care less who he hurts while trying to achieve his myopic vision. He is not a great businessman, just a lucky one who happened to make money out of rising property values in nyc off the back of his fathers investments. Someone really should do something about him to put America and the world out of his misery.

Sadly, most countries (use to) look to America as a model of progress, as a world power and a roadmap to the benefits of democractic ideology. Trumpism is seen as a break in that path, an unexpected negative, and in brief, depending on your view on life, expected things in life are classed as good, and unexpected as evil.

On balance I think the negative foreign impact America has on parts of the world are outweighed drastically by the positives, being by nature a superpower always puts them in the forefront of conflicts and folks seem to connect only negative connections of their impact.

For decades now the world has looked to the US for financial and military support. They have policed the globe all this time, and now have found themselves in a slump. It’s ok the world turning to them, but who do they turn to when things go wrong? There is nobody, and so they look inwards, I for one don’t blame them.

Leftists will never understand that this president is for America and will put his own country first every time. I believe he will get a second term in office and will succeed in making America great again.

Too bad we can’t elect as prime minister that would concentrate on the UK and her people in the same way.

A country does not exist in isolation, even North Korea.

I’d replace the word America or any notion of the country in your message with the word Trump and it’ll be more logical.

They did not do any of those things out of anything other than a global expansion for their own ideals and trade, bit like many other empires had..

What you call pricing the globe was also about overturning democratically elected government by military force for their own tinpot dictators to oppress..

Your post may have some merit as a debating position till you trot out the banal cliche that trump used to con his own electorate..

He shouldn't be impeached. It will just stoke his base.

Evidence can be sealed until he leaves office.

His naked attempts to suppress and subvert the legal and legislative process will hang him. If not, the recession will.

Of course, like all those who "know" that they are right it will be someone else's fault. A conspiracy. The true believers will still believe.

However, that base is not that actually that big.

You could read that how you want.

He hates all soldiers.

What it actually indicates to me is that soldiers in general are fine but he hates racist soldiers.

There has been a conviction and photographs to indicate some level of racist sympathy in the army and Royal Marines but level could be, and hopefully is, tiny. Ironically the armed forces spend a lot of time with "foreigners" which greatly reduces the likelihood of holding racist views.

Ironically the armed forces spend a lot of time with "foreigners" which greatly reduces the likelihood of holding racist views."

Also the reason UKIPs support is lowest in multicultural cities and highest in white middle-England.

Newcastle and Gateshead

ansd since we are talking about "talking rubbish" peace...... trying practising what you preach, because this is a solid example of "weapon grade bs"

"For decades now the world has looked to the US for financial and military support. They have policed the globe all this time, and now have found themselves in a slump. It’s ok the world turning to them, but who do they turn to when things go wrong? There is nobody, and so they look inwards, I for one don’t blame them."

so.... please back up this statement with just one example........

because last time i remembered they backed up the us in 2 gulf wars... and the only time nato invoked article 5... you will have to tell me who did it, and how all the other countries reacted to it.....

"Leftists will never understand that this president is for America and will put his own country first every time. I believe he will get a second term in office and will succeed in making America great again.

Too bad we can’t elect as prime minister that would concentrate on the UK and her people in the same way."

so when was america "great" before trump to not be great now? now the era!... just curious???

they understand that the way to insert your influence on the world is not to rip and and walk away from international treaties such as the paris climate change agreement... (but if you campaign in financed by coal and oil tycoons... i don't suppose that has any influence in policy making at all) or the iran nuclear deal

if the uk elected someone like trump they would be laughed at the same way the trump administration is... that why EU ministers laugh at BoJo for example....
