Lots of calls in both houses for this.

Nice, easy thing to say - very soundbite friendly, but low on actual content.

Specifically...what would the question be?

Between them all, they could spend another bloody year deciding that.

(and by "deciding" I mean "watering down to meaningless ")

So, given that we're no longer in a binary yes/no situation (because no could mean "not this deal" and "not out at all")...how would you phrase a second referendum question(s)?

Exactly this. The only thing we’ve learned from this farce is that the people can’t be trusted to vote in the best interests of themselves or the country. They’re too easily scared by posters of refugees and too easily sucked in by bullshit like the 350 million a week to the NHS.

I think there will be a People’s vote, on the ballot paper should be

1: Remain

2: Mays deal

3: No deal leave

If it’s a first past the post vote, Remain to win by a landslide,

If a single transferable vote is used, could go either way, but I’d say Mays deal to win out!

Well they all signed agreeing to abide by the first referendum result .so what's the point of a second ,third or fourth for that matter .they all lie through their teeth . let's have a referendum ....have you got any faith in any current MP .good there's no yes box to put your cross in ...suits me fine . they are all pathetic .don't kid yourself not one of them has any individuals interest at heart .just their own egos cos they ain't got a heart

I don’t know what you’re saying. All the things I listed as being Important to me and in my opinion to the country, are better if we are in the EU.

Other things that I don’t care about and don’t think are important, such as the concept of sovereignty, are arguably better out of the EU.

Back to the original question.......

1. Leave with or without a deal in March.

2. Call a draw and talk about it again in 10 years.

3. The problem is that no expert will ever be able to predict what the right answer is because future forecasting is bloody impossible. The issues raised by both leaving or remaining are so immensely complex that the referendum should have been preceded by a national inquiry into the question, led by an independent judge or other impartial agent. They could have spent a couple of years taking the whole thing apart, hearing witnesses under oath, so no more bus weirdness, and publishing the results, with accompanying TV and radio programmes about the findings. Then, with all of us a little more educated, we could make an actual informed decision. Instinctually I am a remainer, but to be honest, that might be disastrous for all I know, I'm not an expert in economics, social policy, agriculture etc. So my vote is, as a population, let's get ourselves properly educated and have another go about the true issue, not sentimentality, misguided patriotism (either side) or sorting out the bloody tories who have argued about this with themselves for bloody ever. Let's give this the true collective mind of all British people that care about the right decision over whether they feel like they have won.

The whole point of Brexit is to allow certain Tories, Aaron Banks, Rees Mogg etc and the ultra rich to how more power by exploiting everyone and everything.

“Removing red tape”. Means removing EU laws that protect the environment and workers rights. That’s the only reason the likes of the ERG are pushing for a hard Brexit.
