Dear members of parliament. I told you no deal was better than a bad deal. I bought you a deal I thought was good. You told me a backstop was no end date was a red line. I went back to the eu. They told me a temporary backstop was a red line. I hear you when you tell me that would be a bad deal, and so I will be asking you to ratify my proposal of no deal, which we you will vote on once we clarrify a few key points of ambiguity.

Cue two weeks of focus on what no deal really means. At the end Of which I wouldn’t be surprised if the public opinion starts turning. Sure there will be the likes of centaur and peacehaven who are dye in the wool anti brexiteers. But just listen long to farage insense there are others who are starting to be more worried....

Bristol East

I get the impression there is a significant body of opinion in England that does not know or does not care about the border in Ireland.

Even though those same people keep referring to the IRA in the same breathe as Jeremy Corbyn.

Like everything to do with Brexit, it is incoherent.
