BBC news can't even get their Facts straight

No wonder there's so much misinformation & confusion over every aspect of BREXIT when news outlets like the BBC still can't get their Facts straight in an article aimed at explaining BREXIT options.

Posted today by the BBC the article is explaining the different factions within the Tory party as to what kind of BREXIT they want and is meant to explain the why's & what's of their arguments.

After various camps have been explained it comes to the Norway plus / EFTA scenario.

It explains this route gives access to the EU Single Market & Customs Union and the obvious 4 Freedom's yet totally ignores the fact that to do so requires you as a EFTA member first you then secondly need to apply & join the EEA for this to happen.

Nowhere does it state we can be an EFTA member only and not sign up to the EEA and keep away from being tied to the EU.

So going by this people reading that article may well take it as Red that EFTA still means joined at the hip with the EU when it isn't.

It's so hard to really know what means what without serious information digging which most people rightly so really can't be bothered to do.
