Funnily enough politics rarely come up as a topic on a date....But if someone was a rabid right wing zealot, who could not keep his thoughts to himself....Well there would be no second date lol xx |

Yes and no.
I'm quite left wing, however I live in rural Hampshire. If I didn't socialise with people who are right wing, I probably wouldn't socialise with anyone.
However, there is a line. I couldn't respect or date a UKIPer of Tommeh supporting fascist. |

I have close and other friends of most political persuasions but - after a recent date - considered whether my level of political interest (rather than the actual political leanings) would be matched with a partner who was very different. I concluded that I'd probably only be comfortable - assuming that matching on other levels was right - if we'd have similar levels of political interest, give or take.
There are probably people with some political leanings that I could not match with but it's unlikely that I'll be in their company. |

People with intelligent and differing opinions often make the best company.
But as others mentioned I wouldn’t touch any of these EDL, UKIP far right racist types whom populate this site. Not as a friend, lover or anything. |

How does your friend react when you start flobbing on them? |

Politics, it’s a good subject to touch on. Since the refarendum in 2016 there are less apolitical people knocking around. Used to be that no-one wanted to talk politics as the two main parties in this country were virtually identical. So recently more people have a similar level of interest.
If the question related to differing end of the political scale, it would only be a problem if they were far right, had sketchy views or voted UKIP.

If I was actually dating someone, I would pretty soon know their political beliefs. If they turned out to be a libtard/remoaner, I would respectfully withdraw from the relationship. If it was an nsa meet and fuck I wouldn’t want to talk politics. How can I say I love you, when your sitting on my fuckin face? |
