If we are in the WTO and there is a dispute will the UK Supreme Court have any say in the matter?

If not, will we have lost our sovereignty?

WTO courts rule on disputes - similar to the ECJ do in the EU - you know one of the bits we hate!

Can the WTO effectively rule on disputes at the moment. It was my understanding that Trump was vetoing the appointment of new appeals judges and this was to intentionally hamstring cases being resolved as he feels the WTO is always against the US (probably just meaning him).

The US have won more cases in WTO than any other nation! Trump lies we all know that!

So you responded by also not answering the question?

Perhaps you missed it?

the land of saints & sinners

Sovereignty is an abstract concept that actually has no impact on the average person.

Whether we leave or not or are bound by WTO rules we will still have to comply with the trading rules and be bound by international agreements and treaties.

We won’t be able to just make stuff up because we feel like it and any disputes will still need to be resolved by an international body.

Sovereignty does not create jobs or put food on the table. It’s just something that nationalists carp on about as if any loss would like chopping off an arm.

No

"

No nation is sovereign in international affairs so no loss or gain either way.

Still not one Brexit voice?

There seems to be a trend when a single, direct question is asked...

People happy with no deal and trading on WTO rules on other threads.

Anyone able to address the solution to this situation first?

Of course we will have to abide by WTO rules, our courts will not be in control, and it will have f all to do with sovereignty.

Just like the EU then. Only we have less of a say in things and less influence.

We will be buying and selling, so we will have all the influence required. Nobody will be able to stop us buying off or selling to anyone.

Again, just like we are in the EU then? There is nothing stopping us buying and/or selling to anyone.

So what aspect of abiding by WTO rules and judgements takes back control of anything?

Don’t need to be in WTO if we went EFTA

The win solution!

You haven't actually answered the question.

EFTA does not address the fundamental point of this question any differently dies it?

I'm sure that the Leavers on here whole-heartedly accept that EFTA answers the question "Should the UK leave the EU"
