To me brexit was voted on purely as an immigration issue.
Not realising all the other issues that will come along with it.
I suppose it will benefit companies, as a lot of European guidelines put in place to protect workers won't apply. |

In and always have and will be...
But here is a thought for the outers.
You normally have a cooling off period for most credit agreements when you get to reflect on the decision you made I don’t see why we should not have the same if the deal we get is not good...
To keep going for the sake of dogma is not always the wisest move. It takes true political cougrage to admit that you are wrong. Unfortunately most of our politicians lack wisdom and courage.

In.
But not in the Eurozone, because we were never in that to begin with as we kept the pound. I'm clearly in a pedantic mood today. |

"I notice the remainers are still bitter they still feel aggrieved and that they have to comment on everyone who wants out "
There are two threads. One for leave. One for remain. Whichever fills first wins. You leavers keep on posting comments on the remain thread (this thread). Thereby helping remain to win.
Does that explain things? |

So workers rights are bad? Are you wanting to go back to lower rights?
Ok let's take Dyson brilliant engineer who makes expensive electric products. Designs in the UK - but builds in low wage economies - would have more respect if they were made in UK creating jobs and wealth - but he follows global wealth which isn't shared that much!
Having said that there is nothing wrong with profit - but reasonable profit. Workers rights - but reasonable workers rights not like the silly "reds" of the 1970's.
Immigration was a big "con" - we always had control of EU migrants - freedom of movement was only 90 days, but Blair and all other PM's ignored the rules. As for the rest of the world we set the rules so what went wrong - we always let more in from the world than the EU? |

They are not so bright as they want to put an opinion forward despite that opinion leading to a worse position
Ie
Two threads let's see which one fills first
Erm so they would be adding to the remain thread winning
Let's be clear some leave voters are very intelligent indeed. However the ones posting on this thread are not giving evidence to suggest they possess that attribute xxx |

I voted remain.
But I thought it was funny that the media was bombarding us, with constant reports of refugees coming to Europe. After the vote the reports stopped, shame the boats are still coming.
Also look at a regional report done on brexit, everyone shown said that we should stop allowing eastern europeans in to the country.
That's why I mentioned immigration. |

In.....it's the only sane choice
As the weeks pass it becomes more and more obvious that leaving is going to be a complete clusterfuck. Despite the obvious impact on jobs and the economy (and therefore the negative impact on public services), the daft, delusional and dangerous still burble on about the sunlit uplands and the land of opportunity that awaits us on 30/3/19. People are going to be very unhappy when they find that all the promises will turn to dust. |

A loud minority (25% of the total UK population and 37% of the electorate) can't decide for the rest of the country. "
100% of voters had the chance to vote, those that didnt cant now complain either way. It would appear that while you think that 37% shouldnt be enough for us to leave you do think that less than 37% should be enough for us to stay, if you cant really see the irony and double standards in your position then there is very little hope |

They can only continue gnashing their teeth to the fact that they're a loud 25% minority, and actually a 70% of that minority is over 50 years of age... Roughly 12million, of a 66-68million population, that will likely disappear in the next 20 years. |

Being condescending and calling Brexiteers stupid is one of the reasons we are in this mess in the first place though. |

Your remainer chums want to play on the out thread too!
Why don't you do one of your famous predictions, you could try and predict what percentage of leavers are posting on the in thread and what percentage of remainers are posting on the out thread.
There again with your track record on predicting results it's best to keep your mouth shut, there's only so much egg you can have on your face before choking to death! |

Absolutely right to stay in.
The referendum was only to keep conservatives in power - nothing else.
They've pissed on you for 2 years and will take a dump on you too, when negotiations end. Instead, be your own person and remain inside the EU, when it's in yours and your country's interest. |

"Brexit is going to destroy this country and must be stopped.
I’m definitely for staying in. Yet your nation voted leave " the nation also voted for the May and her party to deliver brexit. Yet many leavers are vocal about their dissatisfaction in how they are doing this. Should they suck it up too ? |

As of now, the UK is part of the EU; the UK would be rejoining the EU only after leaving it on March 29th 2019. Hope that helps to answer your question. |

And as it now looks likely that any deal wont be put to the house till the new year we will not have time to repeal the withdrawal bill so we are definitely leaving so my question stays the same |

Not sure it is a representative sample of the UK.
Perhaps the best gauge would be a referendum. Hang on, haven't we had one already? |

"Do rejoiners really think the eu will give us the same deal as before?"
There is nothing that will change if Article 50 is revoked, except that the UK would rejoin the rest of the EU at the negotiating table, where EU priorities and action are decided and implemented. The UK has relinquished this power, whilst Article 50 has been active, so has lost its influence. In other words, if Article 50 is cancelled, the UK increases its power, on the same terms.
Financially, the brexit costs are currently over £500 million per week, so that's money that can be spent on other things, such as the NHS, for example, where this winter's crisis is potentially going to be worse than last year's troubles. |
