But I'm not in favour of another referendum. I wasn't in favour of the referendum in the first place.

If any sane person knew a mixed demographic of the UK population then they wouldn't have trusted up with that sort of decision.

I'd agree with that. I don't think anyone can now seriously dispute that, at least in the medium term, we are going to make ourselves less prosperous by leaving, but evidentially, there's lots of people who care more about the principle of the thing.

If people had to give a valid reason as to why they were voting as they are, 'out' would lose a lot of votes.

That being said, is anyone fed up with the whole thing? David Cameron has a lot to answer for!

If the economy does take a dive after we leave, I expect a huge backlash. If it really starts hitting people in terms of unemployment, shortages, more expensive holidays and so on, most people will forget about the principle.

"Do singles get two votes "

All profiles get one vote!

If a couple votes remain and leave, a half point is added to each.

Or at least that's how I've been counting anyway. I'm sure if you want to do it another way, it could have a different outcome!

It would seem then even if we had another referendum the result would be the same

Reply privately (closed, thread got too big)

So that's it then. Just as I predicted. A clear win for stay. This is why we need a second referendum. So we can get the true will of the people heard loud and clear

*warning. the above statement has involved no maths nor legitimate vote counting. it's the correct result via "feelings"

Indeed it would, and similar straw polls were done on here back in 2016 just before the referendum which had leave as a clear winner.

Remember, United we stand, Divided we fall. All you winging remainders are doing is ensuring we get a bad deal.If the EU see that we are united and determined to leave they will give a better deal.In the meantime we should have been making preparations for a no deal including encouraging car manufacturers and others to source their components in UK.What a boost to the economy that would be.

I’ll play as May.....”okay’

No one else could be that ugly...surely.

Heard they have asked her to take off the Halloween mask from last year on many occasions but she won’t.

Love how the French turn tail as they have in the past.

So you voted out because you wanted more rules not less?? I think you must be the first

Don't worry. I know you were just having fun. But ironically if it was the case you'd be likely to be the only leaver who'd be satisfied by what it brings... an explosion in bureaucracy and law making

So which Out are people voting for?

Completely out hard Brexit (which is actually illegal by our own laws).

Status similar to Norway (free trade available).

Something else?
