It makes no difference if she stays or goes. Whether we have a leadership change in the Conservative party or even a change of government. Whoever replaces her as PM may be able to delude some that he or she is strong and steadfast but once they walk into No. 10 they'll be faced with the same problems that Mrs May faces. No money, probably no majority and the worst constitutional crisis in British history since 1688.

It's been two years since the referendum and the best BREXIT deal anyone has come up with so far, including Labour, is the one Mrs May has now put forward. Yes, I know it's a shit deal that is clearly worse than what we have now but it's still the best BREXIT deal possible. You simply can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear.

We don't need to change the singer, we need to change the song. Untill we do that we're just pushing deckchairs around the deck while Britannia starts to sink.

Nope, definitely not time for her (or the Tories) to go. This is her and their mess, they should be made own it! As for BoJo and DD it is disgraceful that they have been allowed to skate in the way they have.

Britain did vote for her. She held an election, you might have heard about it, it was in all the papers.

I think her days are numbered, Donald Trump has already publicly trashed her Brexit plan. She played each side off against the other (Leave and Remain in the Tory party) up until the Chequers meeting last Friday but she had kicked the can as far down the road as she could. As she was a remainer she has showed her hand for a soft Brexit now, the ERG lead by Jacob Rees Mogg won't support her version of soft Brexit. The ERG have already indicated they intend to pressure her to go for a harder Brexit through a Guerilla war tactics type campaign. If she refuses then they will call a no confidence vote and she will be removed.

I'd have chalked that up as a positive, personally.

Shouldn’t the crafty old dog also own the mess? And if the plan was to get Labour into power, well, England will win the World Cup before that happens again

I think her days are numbered. Trump has anointed Boris and hinted at a trade deal as a sweetener for his rise.

This is politics 2018.

"She was crap at her last post and she is crap at being PM."

I was hoping she would be a good strong female leader like Thatcher was, made a good change from a male PM but I do feel trying to deliver the undeliverable has damaged her beyond doubt.

She's doing ok considering she's surrounded by back stabbing shit gibbons. She knew she couldn't please all the people and she's decided that pragmatism is better than ideological extremism.

She can hold her head up because she refused to be cagouled and bullyied by those who want a hard brexit even if it means cutting the the throat of the UK.
