We held a referendum with a plan for only one outcome. There was no plan for the outcome that happened, so everything is being made up as we go along.
It was the same for the Scottish referendum - the UK Government point-blank refused to make any plan for a vote to leave the UK.
I used to think Cameron was OK, but both these events tell me he was utterly inept.
The referendum was about trying to cure the Tory Party of its European demons. If anything, those divisions have got worse and we're now lead by a government who are hostages of their own extremists.

That is not quite correct.
There was no political plan, but there was a BoE economic plan and the governor of the BoE even announce he was implementing the BoE to protect the British economy in the event of an out vote as soon as the result was known. |

"People only ever comment or think of the negatives
In the long term the positives will out way the negatives 10 fold many times over"
How long is long? Some people may never see it! |

There will not be a long term. Within 10 years we will be back in (assuming we actually leave), as the dinosaurs die off, and the younger generation get out to vote. |

Citizens didn't have much clue what it was going to be nor how it would be achieved. Some Muppets thought UK could just one day simply say it was no longer in the EU and everything would magically work.
Countries that inter-relate must have agreements and the UK doing so with the EU in future obviously doesn't mean it would be in the EU, just because there was a trade/customs agreement.
The Irish border issue was discussed before the referendum and is no surprise to anyone - an open border has to continue. May should have had a solution before triggering article 50.
The conservatives didn't win an outright majority at the last election because they are not trusted to get it right but wore, it's a total cock-up. |

You have parrotted that from shysters who ignored the governments own views which predicts failure. |

"The DUP are a pain in the ass!
Sadly if you want any form of brexit youre stuck with them.
Or maybe you should tell them to join the rebublic?"
The DUP see themselves as British so I think it would only be fair if the UK were to offer DUP members an option to move to mainland Britain to maintain their connection. |

" Luckily for the residents of NI the DUP poll more votes and have more seats than any other parties. The majority of the population in NI want to remain British. |
