It's started...(taken from the BBC)
The US, UK and France have carried out air and missile strikes in Syria in retaliation for a suspected chemical weapons attack last Saturday.
Video footage has appeared on the Twitter account of Iran's semi-official Fars news agency that appears to show missiles being intercepted by the Syrian army.
I'm off to the shops to stick up on dry foods and essentials. |

Apparently we bombed just hours before the OPACW was due to inspect the area and investigate the so called chemical attack.
Looks like a case of possibly trying to blow up evidance that this was a total false flag operation.
Well i hope no russian or iran casualtys happened (or syrian civilians), otherwise shits about hit the fan.
Thanks a lot media, trump, may and macron.
Thanks for putting potentialy hundreds of thousands or even millions of lifes at risk without any true evidence to back you up.

Fuck Christmas. It had better be over before we go to Cap d'Agde.

the us would have given the russians 60 minutes so they could get their personel out of the areas concern as to not esculate the matter, they would have told them planes and missiles were coming so russians could get their planes out.... |

there was an alternative and 12 of the 15 countries in the UN security council agreed... even china would have let it go thru with their abstension.....
russia veto'd it.... i know you like not to believe that in your writings... but they did! |

actually... yes it is... it was put in place to stop unneeded air incidences and minimise accidental incidences...
they would have been told that there would be "missions" going on in a general area... but they would not have been given the specific target |

Which just shows the U.N. is not fit for purpose in a modern world. The permanent members of the security council have too much power. It should be majority vote carries the motion. |

You can see it that way, and I half agree - on the flip side, do you want to push Russia into a boxand tell them 'we'll do this without you'. I mean who knows the gambit might be worth it? |

It's an unfortunate but pragmatic set-up that minimises the possibility of direct conflict between the strongest military powers. |

The 5 permanent members are the original 5 world nuclear powers, and the reason they have a veto is it is better that than nuclear war. As for the not fit for purpose the UN and the threat of nuclear war has managed to restrict the scope of wars for some 70 years. |

Maybe it was part of a group of posts that got out of control so all were deleted by a mod. |

"There was only 20 or so comments and all relatively tame, is it the original poster who has the ability to delete the thread" Na only you and mods can delete your posts. Maybe you didn't actually post it, I find that happens sometimes.

Fabio I'm sick of your hypocrisy, the Americans have vetoed every single resolution on Israel for 40 fucking years, yet you constantly being this shit up like it means something.
I'm going to ask you direct, do you think we should cruise missile strike Tel-Aviv? |
