Voting together today to defeat a motion to scrap the council tax.
The SNP campaigned on scrapping this 'unfair tax' (their words) back when they were in opposition but now that they have the power to actually do so they don't seem keen at all. |

Perhaps they realised that the money has to come from somewhere? |

Exactly. But one had previously campaigned against this 'unfair' tax and then refuses to do anything about it.
They used to have this advert on billboards back in the day:

This is why none of them can win elections in Scotland they seem to think scrapping things with no alternative plan to replace it with
Just like the Football Act
Btw did anyone happen to catch the march that loyalists are trying to set up on the 1st of May 2018 saying they will attack catholics and nationalists
Oh aye scrapping the football act with nothing in place to replace it with is working wonders eh ? |

and there we go with the football act yet again.......
that is not a good analogy because there are thing that can are already in place that will take over the football act...
the football act is bad law....
as has been said, the scottish high court, cps scotland and police scotland all said it wasn't fit for purpose and the cross party scottish parliament judicary committee advise it should be repealed....
so let me give you a better analogy of what has happened here...
in the US the republican party seem to dispise the Affordable care act (you may know it as obamacare) and for 8 long years they promised the 1st thing they would do is get rid of it if they got back into power.... and they had this brilliant replacement ready
so 8 years pass... they get into power... they are asked what are you going to replace it with.....
erm.... silents.......crickets.....
so the snp for the longest time have been saying "we will get rid/we will scrap"... and they said they had a fair replacement lined up....
and then they get into power they are asked what the replacement is, and the timescale....
silence....... crickets!!!!
all the greens ended up doing is basically killing the lie the SNP have been telling people for ages.... they would do stuff,
they had the chance to do stuff,
they did nothing when given the chance... |

Fabio that was waffle there
I mentioned the football act only because once again the parties / branch offices have nothing and i mean nothing that they would replace the council tax with just the very same with the football act repeal with with fuck all in place to replace it with no wonder they aint in government in Scotland
Hows that repeal on the football act working out eh ? 1st May 2018 loyalist protestants marching to actually attack the catholics and nationalists great work that eh be fucking proud of that |

Gonna tell me why yoons always attack SNP but never their own branch offices ?
Scottish Labour branch and the Scottish Torybranch actually voted against scrapping the council but yet you attack the SNP but will defend the yoon branch offices why ? Do they get special treatment or something ? |

The SNP have lifted the freeze on the council tax and I'll think you'll find most if not all have increased it by atleast 3% |
