Have things changed that much? Or has the jobs market and definition of full-time work been manipulated to force wages down so much that the vast majority of the workforce are now being forced to subsidise the excesses of the fat cats at the top of the biggest businesses? |

Well I get that it's satire and all, but tbh not all women have the capacity to be big earners and have a family life.
Same with a lot of men too.
Getting past the £30,000 salary mark now - if you're under 35, generally means having a degree level education, your your own business, or a lot of experience in the work force or a technical apprenticeship. That kind of learning and investment in your work life often leaves people burnt out: not just women either.
The reality is now you need women and men in full time work to run a household. Unless one really is a big earner. |
