The french policemen who has died from his injuries to save inocent people.

It takes a very special person to walk into a situation like that with nothing to fight back or protect you're self.

Great respect to him

An example of real courage. The lady whose place he took must be so relieved! He did his job, lead by example to his men and paid the ultimate price! Trebes is such a pretty town and it just shows these things can happen anywhere. It's a bit of a reminder - be vigilant at all times!

I hope he gets a posthumous honour. What he did is way above and beyond the call of duty.

.

This.

It's got nothing to do with his job, what he did was an individual act of bravery

There is no greater love than this: that a person would lay down his life for the sake of his friends.

The world has lost a truly courageous man.

RIP

The chap married his girlfriend in hospital a few hours before he died.

A priest did the last rites and the wedding vows.

What a guy - getting married presumably means his partner will be entitled to whatever death-in-service benefit exists in France. He's looking after her.

They had a big ceremony for him in France the other day. The top man went along.

He's a national hero.

I think he was willing to do far more for his country than many politicians would ever consider. Great man!
