Mayhem Tories behind in the Polls, making a hash of Brexit, chemical weapons somehow smuggled into the country without killing everyone at the air ports , Russia having been verified as having got rid of all its chemical weapons a while ago, Novichok ' inventor' long ago defected to the USA, Mayhem fist bumping people, smiling and taking selfies at the scene of the crime , trying to do a woman of the people version of Corbyn.
Is anybody really falling for all this? Apart from Sun and Daily mail readers , that is |

The weekend polls gave the Conservatives a 4 point lead over Labour.
Maybe you need to go back to school of you think that is "behind"! |

It was all going OK ish till you said the Russians have got rid of all its chemical weapons..
Because if anyone thinks that any of the countries that possess such like because of verification then sorry that's a bit naive op..
Armed forces still train in NBC ppe for a reason.. |

Novichok didn't come from Russia, but from Uzbekistan I believe , and the body that deals with chemical weapons verified that Russia had got rid of its chemical weapons . It was supervised by the US. Research it . Also of course , this guy and his daughter were just 7 miles away from our own chemical weapons lab. |

“Comrade Putin, we have successfully stockpiled novichoks in secret for ten years, and kept them hidden from the OPCW inspectors. We have also trained our agents in secret novichok assassination techniques. The programme has cost hundreds of millions of dollars, but now we are ready. Naturally, the first time we use it we will expose our secret and suffer massive international blowback. So who should be our first target? The head of a foreign intelligence agency? A leading jihadist rebel in Syria? A key nuclear scientist? Even a Head of State?”
“No, Tovarich. There is this old retired guy I know living in Salisbury. We released him from jail years ago…”
Makes perfect sense |

kinda my exact thoughts
I'm no conspiracy theory fan however I think the fuss and fallout caused is far more beneficial to either the US or the UK government than Russia not killing an old spy
I also can not dismiss the locality of the attempt vs where the UK keeps it's own stock me the agent
I don't think we have any real data to make any conclusion
And I think the UK directly accusing Russia and taking action based upon the claim is premature ,immature and foolish
The whole show seems to have been played for the media and not to get to the bottom of who and whyx

Can you run me through your thinking on this one? Are you thinking it's some kind of leak, or accidental exposure?
Are you thinking the UK thought "let's try out a deadly nerve agent, but at 45p a mile, we don't wanna break the bank on expenses, so we had better do it locally."?
Are you thinking the spy and his daughter broke in and downed some of the stuff?
How are you thinking the locality is linked? |

You know the anthrax attack in the united states that everybody wanted to rush in immediately and say it was alqeida and then a year later it turned out the anthrax came from the Americans own labs |

In the USA an outbreak of Lyme disease also originally happened local and near to a laboratory on Plum island that was an animal disease research centre. The US government also reportedly has a biodefense lab on Plum island and there are upto 4 suspected infectious diseases which conspiracy theorists say have come out of Plum island to infect the local populations. |

So are we thinking that a nerve agent gets accidentally released from a chemical weapons facility and almost kills 2 Russians ,8 miles away. One of them traitorous spy..
What are the odds of that.I am just going to check what alex Jones at info wars has to say about this...

No it's obvious they were targeted but it's suspicious how the location of the attack happens to be near to where the UK might keep such stocks or samples of that nerve agent if we have them. |

"One thing I'd like to know is why, if it's a super deadly lethal, toxicy stuff,.. How come no one's dead."
Wow. Seriously?
So the fact that 3 people are still in hospital over 2 weeks later. And that they were found in ‘a very serious condition’, with the daughter described as ‘slumped, completely unconscious and having lost control of her bodily functions’.
And your response is ‘well if it is so bad why is no-one dead’?
Geez. Have you thought of running as a Tory MP? Your level of compassion would fit right in.

"I wouldn't pay a grand for this shit job though..... At least the guy who did glushkov did a proper secret agent karate blow to the back of the neck "
Well, the thought behind is putin said a while back that traitors would doe of poison, or words to that effect.
The attempted assassination is a right bollocks up, seeing as not only poisoning the 'target' but others too, and failing in the attempt

The nearest thing to WMD they found in Iraq was components for chemical weapons . . . with manufacturer labels from Spain, the US and, yes, the UK, too. But you don't hear much about that.
