I take it a vast majority of the Country will be staying up tonight, we will all be tuning in to listen to the Speech of the President of the United States
The great Donald Trump
It is the blockbuster US news event of the week, with an estimated 40 million people preparing to tune in to watch President Donald Trump deliver his first State of the Union address

TRUMP: "Effective immediately, I have authorized the release - the complete release, let me tell you - of the memo that proves once and for all that this Russia thing is a total sham and a lie created by the fake news media and very bad leadership at the FBI. Very bad leadership, that was working hand in hand with Crooked Hillary and this I can tell you. But we're getting rid of them. We're putting good people in there. Who know justice. Who know that there is no collusion. No collusion. No obstruction. Who know that now is the time to put this behind us and MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!"

I'm very interested to know what economic policy that Trump introduced has led to improved GDP or employment or stock market value.

If you don't like the source then please find some graphs that show different behaviour of the same economic indicators over the same time period. Even some "alternate facts" would be fine. Perhaps the data that Donald Trump is basing his claims on?

Let's all remember Obama inherited the banking mess from the bush administration and he turned the country round.Now trump is taking credit.Because he hated Obama.Its all out there to read it's called history guys.Trumps as I said takes credit for everything and responsibility for fuck all..He is useless. |

I stayed up last night to watch the speech. Clearly (for the most part) it had been written by a literate speech writer. But it was noticeable that even while calling for unity he was unable to pass up an opportunity to divide. The question is will the American people turn their back on the GOP in November or not. Truth is I will not be surprised if they do not, there is a reason rednecks have the reputation they do, and it is not because they are well educated or politically sophisticated. |

The Democrats have a huge advantage in opinion polls so far. If they can hold that through to November theres a high chance of them flipping both the house and the senate and that will be the end of the Trump legislative agenda for the rest of his term in office. |
