A bridge to France is entirely possible, or at least as far as the engineering experts say. There are Four bridges that already exist that are longer than the distance between Dover and Calais. A bridge to USA is not possible with current engineering methods. One is physically possible and the other isn't so it's ridiculous to compare the 2 possibilities. |

No drugs needed, there are 4 bridges in the world that are longer than the distance between Dover and Calais. Engineering experts say it's possible to build a bridge between Dover and Calais. Not that I want one though. The fewer entry points illegal immigrants have into the UK the better as far as I'm concerned and many of them loiter in Calais (remember the Jungle) so best not to give them any more opportunity to get here. |
