How long before he's impeachment?

He's currently running around desperately supporting a man who was banned from shopping malls for coming on to underage girls (vomiting emoji)

As long as the republicans control congress, its not likely. It goes without saying that if it was a democratic president, the process would have started after the FBI director was fired. Hard as it to believe, Trump is still popular with republican base, not for his achievements but that he isn't a Clinton.

Mueller does appear to moving up the chain, It's widely rumoured that Flynn is co-operating with the Special Prosecutors team. Many now in Trumps inner circle must be worried.

Trump is in Power; get over it

Brexit will happen; get over it

.

How many more of these posts do we have to read!!!

.

Trump will FULLY serve his first Term and who knows, may be voted back in for a 2nd. Republicans refuse to desert him no matter what he does and realistically he aint doing that bad, makes a change seeing straight talk.

.

YOUGOV show his approval ratings have increased in favour of him, other polls have shown his ratings have stayed the same this year and some have increased since his handling of the Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville and Hurricane Irma.

.

Its been a good year and next year will be even better, nice to see the press spit the dummy out when things don't go their way

Nobody is compelling you or anyone else to read anything for now. Multiple exclamation marks tend to detract than add weight to your question, but that is your choice.

Trump has high approval ratings within the core republican base but overall the position is much worse. FiveThirtyEight has some good info on this The latest adjusted results show an approval rating of 38.4% and an disaproval rating of 55.5%. The YouGov poll you cite shows 38% of those surveyed approve of Trump, whilst 56% disaprove.

With over 300 days into his presidency he still has to pass any of his flagship policies.

His handling of the Charlottesville rally cost the Republicans the Virginia governorship and saw 6 Republican incumbents defeated by 6 first time Democratic candidates.

Central

He's not popular and much public information is massaged in his favour by the right wing media elements. We don't know that much of what he has been involved in, so the real picture is uncertain - but it looks grave.

Impeached - not too quickly but late spring could allow enough time to collect more fallen sword collateral and damaging incidents further harming his support base.

The more ahead of the curve political sites I subscribe to are saying that Mueller has many 'sealed' indictments and is close to indicting Trump himself. Apparently if Trump is under indictment he looses his power to pardon others.

It looks to me as if Muller is not just going to remove Trump from power, but bis going to break and totally dismantle the Trump empire, and in doing so send a very powerful message to Americas billionaire oligarchies.

I'm not convinced he'll be found out on anything despite being as dodgy as a nine Bob note... All the media bar fox and breitbart are against him, the democratic party and the republicans are against him, every ex president is against him, every politician from here to China is against him, most of the people in America are against him.... And yet in 12 months of looking nobody's managed to get anything concrete on him?.

.

In fact if I were a betting man I'd have a small wager on a second term depending on the next democratic nominee

I think the big picture is not so much removing Trump but how much to do so and not destroy the democratic system, Pence also knew that Flynn was dirty so they cannot stop there. Next in line is Paul 'no secrets, we're a family' Ryan.

If congress is retaken by the democrats then Nancy Pelosi is in the hot seat. The rabid wing of Republican supporters would then start a civil war.

its nice of you to try and divert the question...... but you might want to look at the part of it you missed in your diatribe...

"He's currently running around desperately supporting a man who was banned from shopping malls for coming on to underage girls"

that is the nice way of putting it... the harsher way of looking at it is that the candidate, roy moore, for the senate seat in alabama, who is now 70, is being accused on various acts of "sexual incidents" (at the moment 10 different women have come forward) on teens who were mainly 16/17 when his was a DA in his 30's.... including one act of what could be considered sexual assault on a girl who was 14 at the time........

so what you are saying is that it is okay to vote for a paedofile as long as they are a republican.....

I salute you sir!!! I salute you!!!!!

oh... and if you think that most americans support the way he dealt you both Charlottesville and the Irma response in puerto rico.... then i am afraid you are flat out lying..... there is no other way to put it....

but lets get back to the orginal question...

i know you have "right leaning" tendancies.... so i am going to ask you a question....

"would you outright support a republican sexual abusing paedofile.... or a law abiding democrat?"

Trump will go when it suits both parties. Republicans will try and hold off until hes at least 51% through his term becausw then Pence can run in 2 more elections.

Democrats may wait till the midterms next year and try and use Trump to sink the other republican candidates.

But Muellers investigation could force everyones hand before that.

From the way the Mueller investigation has progressed we're not even close to the end of it. The only reason Flynn and Manafort get plea bargains is if theyre giving evidence against a bigger fish.

see the problem is this.... every republican person in the senate has basically either said "the guy should pull out" or in the case of republican jeff flake "vote for the democrat!"

Perhaps it's because in both cases they were democratically elected by the people

Unless you are considering a joint military coup in both countries - what else do you have up your sleeve?

Well, in the case of Trump there is impeachment, and in the case of Brexit, parliament is supreme so it can reverse Brexit at anytime. Wow, amazing, no coup needed! Just and understanding of politics!

Trump is in Power; get over it

Brexit will happen; get over it

.

How many more of these posts do we have to read!!!

Until the concept that people aren't obliged to "get over" things just because you say so gets pounded into your head.

Nothing wrong with moaning about irreversible events on a daily basis and doing it in public

Have you tried throwing yourself on the floor in a supermarket and wildly kicking your legs about?

What's irreversible about either Brexit or Trump being in power?

Perhaps it's because in both cases they were democratically elected by the people

Unless you are considering a joint military coup in both countries - what else do you have up your sleeve?

Well, in the case of Trump there is impeachment, and in the case of Brexit, parliament is supreme so it can reverse Brexit at anytime. Wow, amazing, no coup needed! Just and understanding of politics! "

Perhaps having an understanding of democracy would hold you in better stead?

People understand that being impeached is a possibility and that it has no bearing on whether Trump was elected. Impeachment isnt going to retroactively take the election from him.

Really? What about withdrawing America from Nafta. Also pulling America out of the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) which was a key campaign pledge. Also withdrawing the USA from the Paris climate accord. Also another key election campaign pledge on the travel ban which is now in effect. Quite a few things there seem to have been accomplished by Trump.

But they havent withdrawn from NAFTA. The travel ban is also not in effect pending a judicial review. And while the US is actually out of the Paris Accord so many states, cities and others have kept it up in America that it now accounts for just about half the American economy.

So 1 and a half goals accomplished.

1. Withdrawing from the Trans Pacific Partnerdhip trade agreement (TPP) = accomplished.

2. Withdrawing from the Paris climate accord = accomplished.

3. The travel ban is partly in effect as the Appeals court let the travel ban come partly into effect 2 weeks ago. = Half accomplished.

its nice of you to try and divert the question...... but you might want to look at the part of it you missed in your diatribe...

"would you outright support a republican sexual abusing paedofile.... or a law abiding democrat?""

oh he cares!!!!

the reason why the original timing for the visit were put back because he fears the optics of what it will look like both here... and especially in the states!

he wanted cooling off so "people would like him better".....

the prime minister and the foreign sec are going to have to say something about this.... the only thing that may actually end up getting thru to him, for the sake of the world, would be to very publically revoke the state visit invite.....

People who "don't care" don't spend time engaging in twitter slapfights with those they feel haven't shown them enough deference.

This idea that he "doesn't care" and "tells it like it is" is demonstratively false.

Why is the President of the United States of America spending ANY time pressing lefty snowflake buttons?

Why is he not spending ALL of his time trying to to unite his country and make it a better place for people to live in?

Why is he not spending SOME time trying to work with other countries to solve long term global problems?

This is the behaviour of a child and you seem to think that internationally powerful adults should behave in this way.

Trump knew he would get this reaction he knows exactly how to press lefty snowflakes buttons. He's probably laughing his ass off in the White House right now at them all having a meltdown over this, Lol. "

It's pretty pathetic how low people will stoop as long as it allows them to claim they got one over on "lefty snowflakes".

Thanks for proving the point. Trump is that shallow, that juvenile, he'd rather behave like that.

What sort of person would align themselves with such behaviour? They'd have to be truly ignorant.

"If he cared one fuck what ppl think of him he wouldn't tweet his skins thicker than a rhinos he adores the attention good or bad "

If he didn't care why send the press secretary out to lie about the size of his inauguration crowds?

If he didn't care, why was a white house staff member tasked with presenting the president with positive news stories?

If he didn't care why fake and frame Time magazine covers?

If he didn't care, why boast about the size of his hands?

If he didn't care, why attack the media as an enemy of the people

If he didn't care, why hold victory rallies?

If he didn't care why does he repeatedly compare himself with Obama?

I could go on but I hope you see a pattern by now.

Ah. "Winning" an irrelevant point again?

Fancy answering the questions you skipped?

"Why is the President of the United States of America spending ANY time pressing lefty snowflake buttons?

Why is he not spending ALL of his time trying to to unite his country and make it a better place for people to live in?

Why is he not spending SOME time trying to work with other countries to solve long term global problems?

This is the behaviour of a child and you seem to think that internationally powerful adults should behave in this way.

Why? "

The man has this week retweeted posts by The British right and when questioned his spokeswoman said it didn't matter if the contents of the tweets were true as they made a point. This follows his recorded views on sexually assaulting women.

The idiot needs to be detained under the mental health act.

Sorry I’ll apologise in advance but that’s the way I think, I do what’s good for me. I’m not saying I’m right but that’s the way I’ve decided to live my life. I’ve lived in this country 19yrs and have never signed on in my life, most of the time I’ve been self employed, last January I was diagnosed with cancer but I’ve been lucky and it looks like I might beat it ????. I haven’t had an income since January and have bailiffs at my door but I don’t think I’m unlucky or do I expect pity. I buried my best friend 2 weeks ago, he died from cancer and left a wife and 3 kids, he’d love to be in my position at the moment. Things might all go wrong for me but I’ll be able to say I tried, nobody owes my a living.

Dutch officials say that an inflammatory tweet that was shared by Donald Trump was also incorrect.

Mr Trump posted a video originally shared by Britain First's deputy leader which claimed to show a Muslim migrant. But the Dutch prosecutions service says the man shown was arrested and was born and raised in the Netherlands.

The first video retweeted by Mr Trump shows two young men fighting near a river bank, above which Ms Fransen wrote, "VIDEO: Muslim migrant beats up Dutch boy on crutches!".

Numerous reports had suggested however that the man was neither a Muslim or a migrant. Dutch officials have acted quickly to support the latter, saying instead that he was born and raised in the Netherlands.

"The public prosecution service Noord-Holland has studied the file submitted by the police," a spokesman for the Dutch public prosecution service told the Press Association.

The boy's religion was not included in any reports.

The tweet from Ms Fransen is now the most popular post from any of the official Britain First Twitter accounts, receiving almost four times as many retweets as any other post since President Trump shared it on Wednesday

All three of the videos retweeted by Mr Trump from far-right activist and deputy leader of Britain First Ms Fransen are more than six months old, and two date back as early as 2013.

While the other two posts do show Muslims, as claimed, the tweets did leave out key context in both cases.

The videos, tweeted by Ms Fransen on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning and which the US President shared with his 43.6 million followers, fit with an established behaviour from Britain First of sharing old videos with misleading captions and no information about date or context.

Trump certainly does specialise in selling things and experiences that are what a poor person imagines a rich person to be. If that appeals to you, that's your business.

It doesn't really address his compulsive lying, racism, sexual assault, or corruption does it?

Trump knew he would get this reaction he knows exactly how to press lefty snowflakes buttons. He's probably laughing his ass off in the White House right now at them all having a meltdown over this, Lol.

Yes of course it's wonderful that POTUS should provide publicity for a bunch of racists. So far it's just you, trump's press people and the KKK who think this is brilliant.....

Where did I say it was brilliant? You and a few others seem to be living in some sort of fantasy land. Meanwhile back in the real world I agreed with someone else's post that Trump couldn't care less what anyone thinks about his Tweets. He likes to wind people up and judging by the reaction on here he has clearly succeeded. "

I wanted to go back to what centy said here..... because another of his idols said this...

It's no excuse but I think he simply talks or tweets without thinking !

I doubt he knew or knows now who Britains First are or Cares !

Tho I'm sure they must be jumping for joy now !

I didn't know much about them until this !

Tho I was surprised to see a fair few Black and Asian people on thier Rally's !

I'm not making this up see thier face book !

This did puzzle me I must admit

Its like RareCask avoiding your question about the lawful democrat or the paedophile Republican. He tried to dodge the question and then when he couldnt he ignored it because he doesnt feel like he'd get away with what he'd like to say which is support the Republican at all costs.

Its a phenomon we've seen quite clearly since the Trump/Brexit votes. Once a certain group feels like theyre legitimised all their shitty awful behaviour comes out.

At a guess you also think climate change is a fraud

oh For Fox Sake, next you will be wanting to tax Bali's Mount Agung for the damage you think it may be causing.

.

I will let you sit and worry whilst I enjoy life for us all, soon be jetting off for the "Vans Triple Crown", wine and women song a plenty

As far as I can tell your basic position is "I'm fine and I'll continue doing what's good for me".

Just out of interest do you believe that anything on your life may be as a result of the good fortune of when and where you were born or if anybody less fortunate than you is worth helping if it doesn't benefit you directly?

You do understand that other people don't think like you don't you? So you think they are stupid to Do so?

Do you appreciate the fact that because of fools like this you had a free healthcare service to help you? That "foreigners" helped diagnose and treat you?

Do you understand why people might think that those who encourage conflict aren't worthy of praise? That "doing what you said" isn't a good thing if what you said was mean and cruel and selfish?

Is your intention on here just to get a reaction? Have you ever posted anything positive? Have you ever done anything positive other than take care of yourself?

With over 300 days into his presidency he still has to pass any of his flagship policies.

So that's 2 and a half goals accomplished.

"Perhaps the late Lord Attlee was right when he said that referendum are the tool of dictators and demagogues" Margaret Thatcher 1974.

An important part of any democratic process is that those proposing any proposition or putting forward any argument must be able to be held accountable for their words and actions. As is now becoming increasingly clear, the leave campaign in the referendum simply lied about what BREXIT actually involved. We were told in the referendum that we would save money whereas now we find out it's actually going to cost us billions. We were told in the referendum that negotiating a trade deal with the EU would be "the simplest trade deal ever" whereas it turns out that just agreeing the terms of leaving has taken 18 months. We were told that leaving the EU would have no material effect on Anglo/Irish relations whereas now we find that, to keep are commitments to the GFA, it' almost impossible to actually leave the EU's customs union.

The whole referendum, based on a campaign of lies by the leave campaign, cannot be considered a truly democratic process because there is no effective way to hold those making the argument to account. You may argue that the remain side lied to, as if making that argument some how validates the result of the referendum or the lies of the leave campaign but arguing that remain lied too doesn't excuse the lies of the leave campaign and, if anything, simply invalidates the whole referendum process even further.

I, and many others, simply do not accept that referendum are either democratic or in any meaningful a true reflection of the will of the people. Unless someway can be found to hold proponents on either side of an issue accountable, referendum should not, must not and cannot be considered binding on the elected representatives of the people in anyway at all.

Isn't it a bit rich of you to be lecturing others about lies when you've just told 2 blatant bare face lies there.

We WILL be saving money by leaving the EU as we won't be paying a sum of around £9 billion a year on EU membership fees after leaving. The divorce bill of between £35 and £39 billion is only paying for what we had already committed to as an EU member anyway and will be paid over many years at around £1 or £2 billion a year, which makes a significant saving on our current outgoings. Even if we paid the £35 to £39 billion divorce bill as a one off lump sum then our debt with the EU would be cleared and we will no longer be paying around £9 to £10 billion a year EVERY YEAR in EU membership fees INDEFINITELY as a member of the club. £39 billion is only the same as 4 years EU membership fees. Considering the EU is going ahead with things like an EU army it's reasonable to expect EU membership fees for members will increase to cover the costs of that, we will be out of it so again will be making a saving and won't be expected to increase our contributions to cover costs of things like an EU army in the coming years. In the past when Euro zone countries have needed bailouts we have been on the hook to contribute to bailouts as an EU member, now we are leaving we won't have to contribute to any future bailouts of other countries.

On your 2nd point about agreeing the terms of leaving taking 18 months is also False as we only triggered article 50 at the end of March 2017. It is now middle of December 2017 so agreeing the terms of leaving with the EU has only took 8 and a half months.

Plenty of Democrats are involved, you only have to use Google or look at the Wikileaks that were released during the US Presidential election campaign to see how deeply involved in Paedophilia the Democrat party is.

" As is now becoming increasingly clear, the leave campaign in the referendum simply lied about what BREXIT actually involved. We were told in the referendum that we would save money whereas now we find out it's actually going to cost us billions. We were told in the referendum that negotiating a trade deal with the EU would be "the simplest trade deal ever" whereas it turns out that just agreeing the terms of leaving has taken 18 months.

The net contribution of the UK to the EU is £6.6bn.

The divorce settlement is heavily front loaded so the majority of the bill will be paid in the next 4 years.

The UK is still on the hook for bailouts. The Tories omitted that from their divorce settlement estimate to being the final figure down but as part of the agreement its still something the UK will pay.

I'm not interested in getting into a personal argument about whether you or I are more honest in their comments on here, that's for other forum members to judge for themselves.

On your two points. The figure you quote of £39 billion as a maximum is not actually a maximum. In fact many in the EU believe this figure to be a minimum that we will definitely have to pay. Also, as David Davies as just agreed, the 'no hard border' on the island of Ireland is legally binding it seems more than likely that we will actually remain in the customs union and quite probably in the single market to even if some fudged solution pretends we're not. If we do actually end up on fact, if not in name, staying in both them we will also continue to have to make contributions to the EU. We know that we are going to be paying a minimum of around £40 billion, we don't know how much we'll actually end up paying.

We have spent 18 months agreeing our terms for leaving. The last 8 months were spent trying to agree with the EU, the first 10 months were spent trying to agree with ourselves (remember the case going to the Supreme Court last year).

There is an old saying 'people in glass houses should not throw stones'

Judge the man on what he is doing. some of it may upset some people, but please the majority of others as elected.

There are so many allegations flying around you just don't know.

One thing, the media love it as it gets people agitated. Depending on which side of politics you fall.

If folk are so gullible to believe all they see on car crash TV or dishonest sources for newspaper stories, fine, crack on.

Everyones hatred on both sides is duly noted, one side is as bad as the other.

As I have stated before the whole lot of them are crafty, lying, weasels!

Centaur, Whilst not wanting to derail the Trump thread any more... I find it really odd that you seem to be able to categorically state that we will be saving money by leaving the EU, when the government themselves admit to not having actually done any impact assessments on the effects of leaving the EU on each sector. How much is it going to cost to replace all the services we got included in our membership fee?

How do we know how much it would cost to replace things like the aircraft safety certification services (just as one example)? You might be right, we might save money being out. You might also be wrong. So how is it you can call someone else a 'liar' for saying that leaving will cost us billions (it will, it already has), and yet still be sure we are going to save money by leaving the EU when the government themselves don't even know how much it will cost us?

-Matt

What opinion polls are those?

There even more bias than the institutions that commission them, the media that publish them or the politicians that back them.

If you approach people with a particular political persuasion you will get the same answer everytime.

I never believe in polls, just like the Brexit polls, American Election polls, the last election in the UK.

Its all rigged, it's all bias its all tosh. It's all part of a particular political agender.

However if polls float your boat then that's great, believe them or take it with a large dose of Malden sea salt.

"Opinion polling on the administration of Donald Trump has been regularly taken by universities, media outlets, and survey companies since the start of his presidency. Public sentiment on a number of his key actions and proposals has also been tracked.

Presidential approval ratings have revealed Trump to be the least popular US president in the history of modern opinion polling as of the first ten months of the term"

There are a few hundred polls on there, they prove you wrong.

Lets look at the polls and see if your crticism stands up.

American Presidential election: almost all polls had the national vote correct. Trump won through the electoral college but the vote predicted through the national poll was correct. The state-wide polls were almost all within the margin of error as well.

The Brexit polls were within the margin of error as well and polls like YouGov had predicted correctly that Brexit would win.

In the UKs 2017 election YouGov again predicted a hung parliament correctly and in the 2015 election Cameron had a last minute policy change on the Brexit referendum that skewed results.

With over 300 days into his presidency he still has to pass any of his flagship policies.

So that's 2 and a half goals accomplished.

Yesterday another key Trump election promise to cut tax was passed with a majority.

3 and a half goals accomplished.

So that's 2 and a half goals accomplished.

Yesterday another key Trump election promise to cut tax was passed with a majority.

3 and a half goals accomplished.

With a majority of 2 ....and its not passed yet

You were saying?

The Senate passed Trump's tax reforms today with a majority. Trump is getting things done.

Now before you throw yourself on the floor and start stamping your feet, whimpering and wailing it's off to bed early for you and you don't get to watch In the night Garden tonight. "

More garbage from the kipper you realy are a laughing stock on here

Why oh why do you lie your facts are allways wrong utter trash from the kipper

Imagine being such a Trump fanboy that you cheer on literally anything he does, even when it's a blatant giveaway to his rich buddies.

Sad.

Trumps gonna pass the tax bill. Its 1 legislative victory for the year.

Hes still behind Obamas first year and running 10points behind in opinion polls.

Not to mention that he's failed to repeal Obamacare, hasnt laid a single brick of the wall and managed to lose twice in electing the senator from Alabama. Not been a great reign so far. The only question is will he survive long enough to be voted out in 2020.

Sadly he has been stacking judicial appointments with the worst kind of people because the GOP have binned a convention where they don't appoint judges opposed by the home states legislator.

This could have serious long term consequences.

"How long before he's impeachment?

He's currently running around desperately supporting a man who was banned from shopping malls for coming on to underage girls (vomiting emoji)

Trump is in Power; get over it

Brexit will happen; get over it

.

How many more of these posts do we have to read!!!

.

Trump will FULLY serve his first Term and who knows, may be voted back in for a 2nd. Republicans refuse to desert him no matter what he does and realistically he aint doing that bad, makes a change seeing straight talk.

.

YOUGOV show his approval ratings have increased in favour of him, other polls have shown his ratings have stayed the same this year and some have increased since his handling of the Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville and Hurricane Irma.

.

Its been a good year and next year will be even better, nice to see the press spit the dummy out when things don't go their way"

If you don't like these posts don't read them.

reports of him pulling his hair out over the book are probably fake news, more likely to take the syrup off and throw it at someone..
