.... now over albania ... due to land at thiefrow at 15.10 ... then straight to No.10 by express limo no doubt.
on the face of the info i've read it would appear that she has broken several laws under the official secrets act 1989 that pertain to espionage. |

it will be interesting to see exactly how deep this rabbit hole of clandestine government goes ... and are the cabinet members rogue or do they have clandestine support from the top brass to undertake covert actions in order to circumvent parliamentary scrutiny and procedure |

I understand the visit was to "unofficially" discuss the UK providing aid to injured Syrian refugees. |

A British citizen was visiting her family in Iran and was arrested for espionage. At a select committee this week, Boris incorrectly said that this woman was training journalists (she wasn't). The next day she was hauled before the Iranian courts again and had her sentenced doubled. |

The things mind, she was booked on a flight 5hat would have given her time to go to parliament, but she rescheduled to an earlier flight to get out, lewving her deputy to take the flak and join her on the later flight she was originally on. |

not quite.... parliament is in recess for the rest of this week as of today....
it was yesterday the urgent questions was asked about her actions and her no.2 had to come to parliament to try and defend her and saying she could not be there as she was outbound on this trip..... it came out that she had deliberately booked an earlier flight that the one she was on originally as to not be there.... |

It’s currently speculation that her sentence “could” be doubled...no decision made yet. They could do so regardless...they’re Iranian and make stuff up as they go along.

Israeli influence in British politics.... No shit, fuck me they have their own committee.
Now you see the real reason why governments who would screw over anybody and everybody are just dandy with foreign aid and keeping it high on spending priority?.... First they get to spend it on keeping people hooked on aid and in poverty and secondly they get to spend it on clandestine shit for the purposes of Geo political gain |

Boris is trying to get out of government so that he will not have his fingerprints over the Brexit negotiations. He wants to be able to say that "they" screwed it up and come in as a saviour.
He should be needs a ministerial position created that is even closer to Brexit. Up until recently the UK FO and diplomatic corps has been very well thought of. It's amazing how quickly a reputation can be destroyed... |

given the power struggle's in Iran which are well known and certainly one would expect the Home Sec to have their finger on the pulse with that particular country and its politics its beyond incompetent that he said what he did..
with one side maybe looking to use her against the other and Foreign interests it was inevitable that his words would be jumped all over despite what any Minister of that Government later said..

The Iranian government and judicial system is so full of curruption they were just looking for an excuse to increase the sentence.
They are so frightened of free speech they will do anything to try and stop anyone they see as a threat to thier archaic ways of thinking.

well, apparently iranian state tv last night were saying that BOJO inadventatly gave the real reason she was there, so it sounds like they are going to use it to up her charges

Apparently we've got to door the bill for Pritti Vacants mistakes - almost £10,000 for extra last minute flights for her and her secretary.
I'm surprised she hasn't put through the cost of her holiday, where she had some unauthorized meetings with Israeli politicians.
She should foot the bill for all of the costs that resulted from her gross negligence and abuse of her position - as would happen to anyone else in their job. |

"My pick for Ms Patel's replacement...MP for Saffron Walden, Kemi Badenoch.
Hopefully not her deputy, Brandon Lewis.
Badenoch? She's only been an MP for a matter of weeks "
And what did you make of her maiden speech?
This woman is a rising star, and the future of the Conservative party.
As you say, maybe a little early for her but watch this space. |

Heard a commentary about her 'holiday', suggesting that the point was she was offering UK foreign aid to the Israelis with regard to medical matters and that these talks had been enabled by the government here. So, they'd sanctioned her going, to send aid in what is essentially a re-run of the Cold War but couldn't have been seen to have done so. Interesting she went when the papers were full of sexual allegations and the like. People's eye off the ball?
She did look horribly smug driving away from her 'resignation' meeting. |

She's my MP.....she's better than the clown she replaced, but then again, a chair leg would have been better than him. |

I've not kept up with the story but the first reports before she had landed in Africa were that she'd met with the PM owned up to a couple of meetings in Israel but not all.
Then the others came out the woodwork..So deceipt was her downfall not the actual meetings themselves..

It's all about trust and accountability going behind the scenes she lost both. As for pm she will never be allowed I can't see a black/Asian pm in my lifetime. Alt right just wouldn't allow it. |

She lied and lied and then lied again (Oh and then lied by omitting to tell the whole truth about who she met and who knew about it). Even in times where lying seems to be normal amongst politicians, she pushed it too far. |

Well in normal times stupidity tends to bar one from the highest office of state....granted, these are not normal times and the calibre of current politicians is at an all time low |
