Doesanyond know what the referendum vote on Brexit would have been if it had been first Past the post in exactly the same way as a general election ?
Same constituencies etc !
I don't know the answer but I'm curious to know ?

"Because the counting areas were different, only estimates can be given.
Some statisticians give a figure of 421 out of 574 English and Welsh constituencies voting to Leave." I meant if the counting areas were exactly the same as an election .
To clarify I believe all votes should be by Percentage ! |

I'm sure I did hear it "quoted" on a parliamentary seat basis..... would have been quite a big margin for leave.
Blair had a huge seat majority on 40% of total vote....imagine if he had got 52%.... actually no, don't! That's way too scary! |
