And let's not forget, part of Trump's appeal is, or at least was, that he wasn't a politician, but rather a guy who "isn't afraid to tell it like it is".
Or, as people we told at the time, less "how it is" and more "how he wishes it were"

Anything that keeps that turd floating is good for him. Smoke and mirrors used to good effect too, whilst people get distracted from even worse stuff.
The UK has people who happily tell lies too - but there's more attention upon the narcissist here atm. |
