If you had to swap out our political sysyem for another countries, which would you go for and why? Please give at least one positive and one negative of the system you pick. |

I would probably choose the democratic model of the City States of Ancient Greece. The whole point of democracy is that all citizens should be involved in decision making and the City States managed this.
The problems are that for such a system to work citizenship needs to be limited and therefore either the vast majority need to be disenfranchised by removal of citizenship or we need to return to being fractured (tribal) societies. |
