In the last two days up here in Scotland the British media have had there baws in a vice and its so fucking good to see the bullshit of the British media exposed as lazy journalism
So Scottish Labour branch office release a press release about the Scottish rail service being late in 60% of stations and the media buy into that shite and print then Wings Over Scotland you may not like Stu from Wings but by god the unionists fear him and what to shut him down but he makes sure people know the real truth and what happens the newspaper have to say sorry and say that was all bullshit and remove it
Then we have Kenny Farquharson who writes for the Times prints that Alex Salmond has not read a book since 2015 guess what happened ?
Yup Kenny was made to look like a fanny and he had to remove that crap
Then we have the BBC who steal £147 of your money to lie to you. BBC Scotland had put up telling people that the police in Skye are telling tourists to stay away from the Scottish island without booking before hand. Skye Police reply saying that is bullshit and what happens the BBC pulls that article
Its time to start waking up to the great British media bullshit
What does it say about journalism in the UK that instead of doing some research to anything the get from sources but instead they print without fact checking lol
Now you know what the pro independence side were up against in 2014 with the lies the No camp got away with because the British media are in the back pockets of the elite and will spin you lies to get what they want and fuck you over big time |

I woke up to this year's ago, it's just all agendas to whip up the masses! Which inturn leads to forums like this!
Surely everyone must realise that there is something much sinister lurking beneath, pulling strings, injecting funding and spinning lies. Because let's face it, sensational news sells. Look at all those that fall for it too. |

the latest sensational news being North Korea.. Video footage of missiles launching while waffling on about tensions, ramping up fear mongering.

The media in the west is largely owned by incredibly wealthy people who care not for democracy or truth and the BBC has become a lame mouthpiece for the government Imo.
Most of us have our opinions formed by these unaccountable people who bend and shape laws to suit themselves |

In the UK all media are controlled and held to account by the state. To set up a media outlet you need a licence, to get a licence you have to prove that you are a fit to own and run a media outlet. if the media are out of control it is because successive governments have refused to curb media excess. |

"Although sometimes people just do not want there own agendas destroyed by facts and figures...So they blame the messenger "
Funny you say that.
So back a couple of weks ago the British media were all claiming Scotland is headed for recession believing all the unionist branch offices
Then facts and figures come out and shows that Scotland GDP is out performing the rest of the UK by miles and Scotland is NOT in recession so the British media were telling porkies
Also this week we had a Scottish Labour branch press release saying 60% of trains in Scotland are late and the British media also reported that pish without looking into it and guess what it was all liars and thats what they get for printing utter shite.

"Up here in Scotland we have such a good standard of journalism that some papers like the "National" newspaper are only good for wiping your arse, ...It must be because it already has BS all over it already "
LMAO yeah right
So whats you views on the papers up here in Scotland were claiming Scotland is heading for recession ? Then we all find out that was utter shite and Scotland's GDP is outperforming the rest of the UK
Also what is your views on the papers outright lying about 60% of trains running late in Scotland ?
So far the Daily Record are the only fucking paper to not tell the fucking truth on the trains. Wonder why they aint bothered about that eh is it because maybe Kezia Dugdale writes for the Daily Record and it was a Scottish Labour branch press release that said 60% of trains were running late all fucking bullshit
What you really mean is in your opinion the standard of journalism is good because it all works in the best interest of unionists it doesnt even bother you that papers in Scotland are printing lies and when caught out lying Scottish Labour branch do not give a fuck about coming out and saying sorry they got it wrong.

I'm afraid you are again showing how utterly clueless you are about finances. Stop reading headlines in pro indy sites and search out the stories for yourself and you may learn to understand them better. Scotland's GDP is lower than the UK, it increased more than the UK's in 1 quarter but is still lower.
Here it is straight from the horses mouth (the Scottish Govt) to help you out
"When rounded to one decimal place, at 2016Q4 annual GDP growth in Scotland was 1.4 percentage points lower than in the UK. At 2017Q1, annual GDP growth in Scotland was 1.4 percentage points lower than in the UK. Between 2016Q4 and 2017Q1, the gap between annual Scottish and UK GDP growth remained stable (0.0% change when rounded to one decimal place).
Last Update: 26 July 2017
Next Update: October 2017"
http://www.gov.scot/About/Performance/scotPerforms/purposetargets/economicgrowth
This sort of thing is pretty basic. Not sure why you find it so difficult. |

Although it should be clear from the post above I'll illustrate this a little furter, and again this is quoting the Scottish Govt:
"Medium term (the last year)
In Q1 2017 the Scottish economy grew by 0.7% compared to the same period in 2016
. Over the same period UK GDP grew by 2.0%.
Average annual change
An alternative measure of change compares the average of the most recent four quarters with the average of the four previous quarters. This figure is less affected by short-term fluctuations, but the trade-off of this is that it is a less sensitive measure of short term change. Between the four quarters ending in Q1 2016 and the four
quarters ending in Q1 2017, Scottish GDP grew by 0.5%. Over the same period, UK
GDP grew by 1.9%."
The Scotgov website breaks the GDP growth down by sector and also included GDP per person comparisons. |
