In the same day the government announce they will be bringing in age checks to access porn online (talk about King Canute and the sea), they also announce new plans that knives purchased online will have to be picked up in person with ID as online age checks are too easy to get around.
Ummm....
At what point are we going to all admit this government are incompetent?

Reminds me of my cousin donkeys years ago. We were 16.... went to watch an X-rated film (forget the title....I've slept since then). Went to the pub afterwards and he was asked if he was 18. His classic answer was...."Yeah, of course! We've just been to watch (insert film title here)"..... as if that proved he was 18!
To be fair he was about 6'4" and built like a brick shithouse so they did serve him! |
