Who thinks we should get rid of these IRA supporting, rioter condoning and war starting tards? Blair started 2 wars over very little to do with this country straight after a load of cuts to the armed forces.
At least Maggie gave the lads the ammo and support they needed to jump the junta.
You can say all you want about equality, human rights, working rights and everything else commie, but who had the best uniforms in the 30s an 40s?
Think you'll find it's all that Hugo boss and coco Chanel the SS an SA used to wear. |

Yes I am bringing left / right wing politics down to a simple who has the most spiffing uniforms. All that black leather and silver Art Deco pagan imagery, god they were stylish. |

ask any of the lads that where there about how well magi had equipped them.

Indeed. I don't know much about he Falklands, I was 5 years old then, but one of the main things I do know about it, was that there was lack of equipment!

My instructors at depot and on later courses, said there was a lack of air assets, ration packs, dry replacement clothing, the water proofs were crap, the issue boots unsuitable, but they got brand new clansman radios, windproofs, lots of ammo, HE and WP grenades and a mountain of 66s an 40mm bloop ammo |

And you might also want to ask them about how Maggie planned to decommission HMS Endurance, and the impact that has on the Argentinians. |

... they might want to call their secure unit and ask their co-worker to come and collect them while they're about it |

Im not so sure about sexy! Pretty authoritarian looking nasty bunch the Waffen-SS! . Let's not forget they plagiarised a lot if their imagery and look from other cultures and eras, Romans, Buddhism, Hinduism, vikings they even had a special unit devoted to the occult and black arts called the Ahnenerbe.
So that Swastika that everyone gets their knickers in a twist over is actually a religious sign! I think it represents the sun.
Uniforms weren't bad but the best equipped and armed army in the beginning of ww2 was the French and we know what happened next!
I will give those German military designers something though, excellent camouflage! They came up with the pattern such as 'pea dot' a particular favourite of the Waffen-SS, which is still worn today but in its modern flecktarn pattern.

The French still had a tubular magazine on the old Lebel didn't they? But apparently the German army had tonnes of camouflage patterns and were constantly repainting vehicles to match terrain. Tactics wise the SS actually sucked, they relied on physical fitness, weapons skills and often just drove straight up to where they were attacking, jumped out of the trucks and started shooting.
But as I said fantastic uniforms, the officer training college ones were Hugo boss.
The NAZI swastika is actually back to front compared to the Egyptian, Shinto and Hindu examples. Possibly a deliberate thing, to do with darkness rather than light as it is a 'sun wheel' symbol.
They also burned a lot of churches on the way through France. |
