The University of Manchester announced that George Osborne would be joining as an honorary professor of economics. That's the same uni that's in the process of chopping 170 jobs.

He's not an MP anymore. He can do what he likes, with who he likes, when he likes.

Honorary is just that, he won't be getting paid.
