Virtually all done and dusted and we have a Hung Parliament.
Firstly, I called it wrong. The Conservatives ran an abject campaign, poor and out of touch. The gamble to take out the opposition has failed, and heads will have to roll.
Secondly, well done to Labour. Their campaign was solid, and although they didn't win, they are the moral winners of the night.
A Hung Parliament will now test this country in many ways. I personally hope that some of the nasty rhetoric that I have seen on here, dies away, and we all move on in the best interests of the whole of the country. |

A spotter's badge to anyone who ever hears Teresa May say "strong and stable" in the future!
More seriously, I think that in divisive times a coalition govt might be a good thing. Despite the criticism they took after 2010, I am immensely grateful that the Lib Dems reigned in the Tories. It could have been a lot worse then and cuts would've been a lot worse now if May had got her huge majority |

On the whole BRILLIANT RESULT
Couldn't have asked for better if I tried.
The Conservatives have received the kicking they deserve without Corbyn taking office "for now" at least.
May's position is really untenable now she taken the government from a majority to a minority |

"Hard brexit got its final nail in the coffin..RIP
Possibility " I can't see the DUP being infavour of a hard border. Free movement of people is back on the cards. Which was the big issue for brexiters. .Its all gone tits up for brexit... |

To be a bit more upbeat about something. It's been a great day for democracy. Whatever your political view it's good to see youngsters getting out and voting.
Alright, I don't agree with them but our generation wont be around for ever and possibly this is a sign that the baton of responsibility is passing to a younger generation to get on with it . I saw a documentary yesterday on life under the Taliban is Afghanistan and it was pretty sobering to think that these sorts of people are constantly trying to inflict their views on us without a ballot box.
Onward and upward eh. |

Moral winners - LOL. Is that like the certificate for taking part? Corbyn got 3 seats more than Gordon Brown ffs, at that rate it'll be 2125 before labour get back into power |
