Was just watching the headlines on Portuguese Tv ! My attention was drawn a report on Macron , giving Putin a hard time , what was surprising was that it was followed by a report on a Task force to work and share intell to fight ISis! This according to one of portugal´s biggest daily newspaper!
Intrigued, I Googled it ! To my surprise , only media from outside Europe seemed to report it !
As far as I could , did not find it in the British media !
The closest I found to the Portuguese report was in Australian and Canadian media! Here is an example from a Canadian paper ;

Curious ! 
As anybody heard more on this ? I get the feeling some of the media is not too interested on divulging this !

"There was a piece about it on BBC text service yesterday. It's certainly not being reported in the same way as the Trump/Kurshner talks with the Russians."
No it wasn't !
I suppose that's says a lot about current media agenda !
The silence is deafening !

I doubt that very much. Macron is a spoiled, pampered brat and now that Putin has found out his weaknesses he'll get his friends in the FSB to indulge him even further. |

Be that as it may ... the fact that stands out is that the "darling" anti Le Pen candidate now President, has now gone further in his cooperation and intelligence sharing with the Russians on Syria and fighting ISIS than Trump did ! He even supports keeping Assad in power !
So we have a double standard !
When trump did it , it was wrong in all sorts of ways , and the media were all over it ! But when Macron does it ....and even goes further ...... its barely mentioned ...if at all !
Mmmmm... The silence of the media...and all the anti Trumpers on here ...is deafening ! |
