Labour. Generally speaking in elections it's a lesser of two evils scenario but I've more faith in JC than I've had in most. That being said there doesn't seem to be much room for honesty in politics but JC is the choice this time around

I'm actually pleased. I was projecting Fab onto the real world. Now l see so many voting Corbyn, it makes me happy because I thought Fab was a general crowd and it's not, it's a niche crowd. Now l see most are left of left. I owe general society an apology.

Although the lib dems are closer to what I agree with, as they only got just over 200 votes in my constituency last time I fear voting for them would be a waste of time.

So I'm voting Labour as they've the best chance of unseating my local Tory

Labour, although I still haven't forgiven them for 1997, so I'll be watching with interest. None of the main parties really fit with my politics though, but I'd rather anyone than the Tories.

Inrerestingly Re: the test of the population; a lot of my work colleagues seem to be saying that they will vote for Labour.

Bear in mind that I live in Tory central and work in Agriculture.....

I backed Owen Smith so don't shoot me lol. When the election was called i feared as you did a land slide but now , there is a good feeling out there , but as a long time labour supporter ans activist i remember to many false dawns .

Yep old enough to remember all of maggies reign and major....Blair....brown....Cameron and now may. Been a Labour supporter all my life and I can never understand people who are not in the top 5% voting tory!

Completely wrong. Tribalism? My parents always voted Labour yet I have always voted Tory so how does that work? I vote Tory to help people. Under Labour governments unemployment ALWAYS rises (well, apart from the one just after the war, but that was because of all the rebuilding needed) and people always end up poorer. Another poster mentioned food banks but they were introduced under the last Labour government. So were zero hours contracts. The last Labour government's open door immigration policy also had a negative effect on society and on the lowest paid workers. If you want people to suffer and be kept down 'in their place' then vote Labour

Not voting ukip this time though, now its got to be Conservative to deliver the Brexit we voted for in the EU referendum. up to a point i would have agreed with you... my starting point was always "could i see myself ever voting for corbyn?" and the answer at the beginning was no.....but a few things for me have changed...

1) I do like the labour manifesto... and I think it shows their are enough people in high positions that the far left of the party can be checked..... plus some of the bigger hitting moderates would have to be brought back into high positions....

I think if it was left to corbyn it would go a lot further left than it did...

2) i can't believe i am going to say this, McDonnell doesn't scare me as a potential chancellor.... i don't think any of the stuff he has proposed is too outlandish (45p at 85K, 50p at 150K)

think about the U turns hammond has had to make..... he is beholdened to a tax slashing part of his party.....

3) yes, abbott is the one that does worry me..... but if corbyn was smart, thats where i would see if someone like yvette cooper would come back into government.....

Cameron and Osborne have already gone, no prospect of them becoming an MP so they are irrelevant to this election. There is also no prospect of Michael Gove getting a position in the cabinet should the tories win the election. Bojo is one of the most well liked and popular politicians in the country so not sure why you included him in the list?

Where I disagree with you is on this being all about brexit... there is a lot more going on here then just brexit as in the NHS, in work benefits cuts, policing cuts....but it's all not bad as there will be further tax cuts for the few.

We have a recession every 7 years, give or take, who is in power is irrelevent. Generally it is a major one, mini one, major, mini, and so on. Basically we are due a mini one in the next 3-4 years, 5 at a push. Its hiw we handle each recession that is important.

My grandfather was a miner and he hated scargill for allowing his mine to be closed to prevent coal mines up north being closed.It was a dieing industry and had its day.However the miners were treated appallingly by the tories and by scargill.

I was a miner. For a week. It is no life for anybody or for anybody's son. The miners I knew were treated well by the Tories as far as redundancy packages went and most went on to do ok or well for themselves

My parents worked for the nhs during the Thatcher period. They saw privatisation of the health service. All the great British doctors went to private. The instruments paid by the NHS went to private hospital. Talk about using tax money to finances the rich. Donors were sold privately before going to the waiting list.

Sounded horrendous.

Unlike thousands of others, who do not even know how to spoil their vote properly. (Google it!!)

Roll on the day we can have a 'None of the above' option.

And it's that inability of Corbyn's Labour to truly understand people and their motives for voting the way they do which is why, in mid term election which Labour should have walked, they're struggling to even hold onto the seats they currently have.

Actually they're not crap but you have to understand them properly. Most poles have a margin of error of 4 percentage points. What this means is that, while the pols suggested remain would win by about 51% to leaves 49% what that actually meant is that remain would get between 47% and 55% and leave would get between 45% and 53%. The actual result was remain 48% and leave 52%, which is within the 4 percentage range.

Currently, in the best pole from labours point of view, they are still 6 percentage points behind and still heading for a big loss. Things may move in their favour more over the next 9 days but u till that gap gets to less than 4 points they're still definitely heading for a loss.
