This is how Emperor Erdogan's islamo-fascist Secret police deal with Kurdish political opponents in front of the TV cameras...in Washington DC!?

Note the lack of police and arrests. You can only imagine that with their experience in genocide and ethnic cleansing what is going on in the Kurdish areas of Turkey. A NATO fucking ally!?

It's not so simple (or perhaps it is?). It's probably more advantageous for the west to maintain some sort of amicable relationship with Turkey due to its location, missile bases ect.

Erodgen is sadly another vile and ruthless demagogue playing the nationalism card and stoking division for cynical gain.

He is conspicuously lenient with Isis as they're convenient for the purposes of fostering and creating a sense of looming threat around the border areas and scaring the electorate into voting for him and not openly critiquing him, how the Kurds are generally treated in Turkey is of course awful .

Trump is a feckless lame duck that lacks Finesse and eloquence to do anything without the risk of exacerbating the precarious situation 20 fold. Erodgen does need to be cut down to size , so to speak
