And now the Swedes have dropped their investigation into Assange.
Curious but no need for Assange to be holed up in the UK any more, although our police will be obliged to arrest him should he set foot on the pavement. |

It was said that he is wanted for breaking a bail condition for not appearing at a police station for tbe Swedish charges.
His solicitor is arranging for that to be revoked so the americans will have to cook something else up |

So, the EU imposed trade sanctions against Ecuador for giving Assange asylum. Bit over the top eh, but then the prats running the EU enjoy a bit of bullying if they can get away with it. Makes em feel big I'm sure |

Fair enough. But politics aside, why did the EU want to get involved in the Assange case and make the people of Ecuador suffer for one alleged sex offender? |

I would not go that far, but I would point out that the USA has a track record when it comes to dealing with leaders who refuse to play ball and buckle under when told to by the US. So I for one will say Ecuador leaders certainly have balls, if not a lot of common scene. |
