Law is the set of legal rules that govern our behaviour.
It has many parts, criminal law has 3 parts, the Common Law, Equity and Statute. Where Common Law and Equity conflict Equity must prevail and Statute is supreme. Statute comes in 2 forms Primary Legislation which is bills passed into law by parliament and Secondary Legislation which is supposed to be minor alterations to Primary Legislation signed into law by Ministers of The Crown.

Please elucidate, I thought I had pretty well covered criminal law (although I will admit to not having mentioned devolved powers and bye laws). |
