So if anyone seriously thinks Corbyn is going to win the election then may I suggest putting your money where your mouth is. £100 would return you £1,500 if it happens.

Unfortunately, those wanting to profit from the consensus view are not being offered good odds, 1/20 for conservatives. A remain vote in the referendum was 3/1 on the eve and that was supposed to be a sure thing.

The only marginally attractive odds are a hung parliment at 11/2.

I had a bet against the odds for Leave to win the EU referendum, always had a feeling Leave would win and picked up a nice paycheck at the bookies from that bet. However I won't be having a punt on Labour to win this general election, even putting a £1 bet on would be a waste of a quid.

No I think it'll be a comfortable Tory majority.

I may have a bet on the size of the tory majority as there may be some interesting odds.

I have a feeling it may not be quite the landslide May is hoping for, maybe a 40-60 seat majority, big but not a landslide

I have £10 on a labour majority at 20 to 1.

Why not put more on it?

I'm not really a betting man, but I might put £10 on labour winning just in

case they defy the odds and I can cash in.

Then maybe £10 n a hung parliament - if I understand theres no point on putting money on the tories winning, as if they do you'll get a low return at this point.

Then again why am I considering throwing away money.
