Given that the UK is the second highest net contributor to the EU, and that only ten out of twenty-eight members actually net contribute, is it then fair that all twenty-eight members have a say in our departure?
As the EU is really a way of moving money from West to East, then these Eastern members have nothing to lose in demanding a large exit bill.
As out net contribution is estimated at £24 million per day, then how will this shortfall be taken up? |

This is a problem for them, though the destruction/difficulties/costs of future trading with us far outweighs this.
Both of these reasons, as well as our political input (though currently they must wonder why the fuck they ever thought we were level headed and enlightened thinkers) are why they don't want us to leave.

"And by the way, the cost of leaving is now calculated to at least £32m a day. "
Is that with or without taking the mythical £350M into consideration?
Anyone got a tin of paint and a bus I can borrow?

A small point...
Only 27 members get a say on our departure now...
We had our say and Ms May sent her letter to the EU saying we're leaving. |

Yes that's the reality but do people think it's fair?

It wasn't a demand, it's not a whinge more of a debating point and no, I can't find the links because there aren't any. But then you already knew that

Who by? I've not read that anywhere."
Been waiting and watching for the answer....
Maybe it's fake news or alternative facts? |

David Davis' own special adviser in the Department for Exiting the EU thinks is going to cost the UK £71m a day. |

I'm in agreement with that principle, those nations that are not net contributor's should be involved in the process but not have a vote in that aspect of our departure..
It won't happen though |

So are we saying that only countries that are doing well and net contributors get a say in matters on the running of the EU such as our exit? If it isn't true the the EU is 'out to get us' like the leavers think. The surely we do t just want the successful powerful countries who receive less net from the EU deciding these things?

No not in all areas of the negotiations but in the specific area where only ten are contributing as the Op has stated then it does look a bit odd that those ten could be led by some of the 'poorer' countries..
