There is a lot of media attention given to the Trump administration and some very big stories coming out of the White House, but there are also other things going on in the background. I have just see a new bill that has just been introduced (HR 899), it may not go anywhere, but the fact that its even been introduced is scary to me. It's a one line bill:
"The Department of Education shall terminate on December 31, 2018."

Yeah cause trump put or bannon put or the republicans put...or a group formed from the above, put in a pro private education lobbyist as republican head of education...go figure.
Doubt it'll go through. But its more worrying than thr fact that a lot of trump backers dont want evolution taught in school. That is for sure. |

at least he has seen sense and is cutting back on overseas aid, shame we don't follow and cut back in UK"
Yeah he's cutting everything but the miltary.
Training of doctor's and nurses loses $400 million.Health care and bio medical research and the environmental protection agency loses $6 billion. |

Hes not cutting back that much! He will be through all the money by June and then he will need to raise the debt ceiling.. Good luck with that Mr trump |
