Serious non confrontational question ?

Where does Brexit leave the above ? Or doesn't it affect them ?

Are they independent Country's ?

I thought they were part of the U K , but I don't think they have M P Representation in parliament ?

Just wondered if any one knows ?

They are crown dependencies. The Queen is their head of state but they have internal self government and are not part of the Eu or the UK. They make their own laws and UK law doesn't apply there.

The UK leaving the Eu won't effect them that much I should think.

Ive been to the isle of mann a few times for the TT racing, i like it, its quite old feeling and got a very similar islander feel to angelsey.

Laws wise its similar to the UK but with exceptions like gun laws and homosexuality, its like the UK used to be in the 80s not that i want to go back to the 80s but it reminds me of my childhood

Jersey

Channel islands are self governing and each one is its own place, we are reliant on sourcing most goods from the UK some from continental Europe, our passports are now processed in the UK but still have the wording Jersey on them as they are biometric now, we will just wait and see

Only because they act as offshore tax havens.
