lol. The more the merrier. Orgy!!!! I read "Negotiating to Yes". It talks about the positions we hold. We have to do it this way!!! But we don't go deeper and realist the problems we have are similar. |

You do know that Palestinians living in East Jerusalem, The West Bank and the Gaza Strip do not have the right to vote in Israeli government elections? Nor have the right to leave the country without special state approval? In fact in East Jerusalem and The West Bank only Jews get a vote (no Jews live in the Gaza Ghetto). |

Over time, if there is some land, anywhere, where Palestinians had adequate space, and infrastructure and potential for agriculture and business, they ultimately wouldn't care about the geography.
The problem is nobody wants to give them this land or support and their obvious starting point is the land where they and their parents and grandparents lived. |

In all honesty can you see the ultra Orthodox Jewish right wing Zionists who continually disposes Palestinians of their lands and build fortified settlements across The West Bank ever allowing the people they persecute on a daily basis equal civil rights? I am sorry to say I cant, however I could see them arrive at their own final solution if the world stops watching them.  |

A 2 state solution was offered by Israel to Yasser Arafat and the Palestinians in peace talks in the 1990's. Yasser Arafat and the Palestinians rejected it. If they rejected it before what makes anyone think they would accept it now? Other solutions and options need to be looked at.
Many Arab countries in the region are now seeing Israel as an ally and not an enemy in the face of the growing threat from Iran so dynamics in the region are changing. |

So lets get this strait your correcting me...
I said no Jews live in the Gaza Ghetto and you say this is wrong because no Jews are allowed into Gaza (expect for the ones in the tanks who go in to kill Palestinian children, and the ones in the planes that bomb hospitals, and the infantry and military engineers who go in to demolish peoples homes). And somehow you seem to think that the people the Jews of Israel have done this to for 70 years are the ones in the wrong. I know you are a supporter of the Jewish State, but cant you see that if you treat people that way for generations (remember there are now at least 3 generations of adults who have grown up under Israeli oppression) they will hate you and want to destroy you totally. |

No they don't!
The Sunni Salafists (who include all the Islamic Fundamentalist Jihadists) see Israel as blasphemy to be totally erased. However they consider Shia Islam to be an even greater blasphemy as they consider Shia's to be apostates and they believe it is the holy duty of all true believers to kill all apostates. If they can get the 'great satan' (USA) and its Jew blasphemy on Arab land to destroy the Shia stronghold that is Iran so much the better. That Trump is so ill-informed and so easily manipulated into siding with the very people he is so determined to destroy is very disturbing. One has to wonder has anyone explained the realities of the Islamic schism and how it effect regional politics in the Middle East or exactly who is who there? Or is this another case of Donny don't want to hear it, "get them out of here!" |

I'd say 2 states, but all religious and military/economically crucial areas must be joint run - eg, these would be semi-autonomous areas within the two states, the expenditure of maintaining all religious/historical sites and maintaining the services in these areas would have to be split 50/50.
Also, one main military base shared between the to nations - basically to try and checkmate them both and force co-operation.
Complicated, but better than shelling innocents and provoking terrorist attacks. |

Jerusalem is the key.From a religous perspective its what they are all fighting over.The dome of the rock sitting atop the temple mount is symbolic of the problem.Who gets Jerusalem? Solve that issue and you get somewhere. |

Palestine, at that time was under British rule. Britain. after the war created the Jewish state of Israel taking land from Palestine.

It was down to saying whatever they had to keep both the Arabs on board against Turkey and Jewish financing on board against Germany. WW1
They promised the the same land to both groups. Oops.
After WW2 with rising terrorism in the area the UK wriggled out with UN "proposing" the formation of The Israel, for which there was naturally much sympathy in the West. However, that had consequences because somebody was going to lose their land...
As ever, short term political expediency causing long term problems.
The UK certainly made an awful lot of money out of slavery. Not the state directly, but private companies and individuals. I don't think that's a particularly controversial take.

So that would be "Palestine" then? Look on a pre-war map and the whole area was called Palestine..... And lots of Jews already lived there, together with many Palestinian Arabs.
There was already a one state solution...that state being Palestine.
Judaism (being a Jew) is a religion. Post WW11 a guilty west decided to create a Jewish state......there is quite a similarity with ISIS wishing to create an Islamic state!
And the tin lies a MAHOOSIVE PROBLEM......no I don't know the solution! |

Yes i know weve all been killing each other since the begining. Alexander the great had a hard time taking Gaza in 323 bc .It took 3 attempts .Nothings changed there then.
Churchill did draw all the straight lines on the map though unifying some dividing others.This map is the one we've got.Its the unholy land thats the problematic area.The crusaders and all the semetic people and arabs have shed blood in the desire to have Jerusalem.
