I blame those menapods or whatever it is women get."
There was a woman staying at a hotel i worked at who had menopause hrt tablets in her room who used to walk about in the nude and the waiters were frightened to go into her room. You notice it with some old men too, they are worst than young men. |

Madonna is a has been. Does anyone care what she thinks? She is a typical celeb fame hungry attention seeker whose best days are behind her now it seems she'll say or do anything for a bit of the limelight. Thing is when ordinary people voted for Donald Trump in the numbers that they did they rejected celebrity luvvies like Madonna just as much as Hillary Clinton, now all these famous luvvies who supported Clinton have had their massive ego's knocked down a peg or 2, and to be honest it was long over due. |

So, not only has this thread got personal again, but also people feel it is fair game to discuss women's mental health issues and the menopause as if they are a joke. Well, the reign of Trump and the right wing are well and truly here. |

She was a good singer and dancer of her time
When she became older, she started adopting children from here and there to get some column inches
Now she is just a silly old bat who nobody listens to and that is why she spouts nonsense like this. Any Arab saying this would at the very least be sitting in a cell being interrogated by the FBI. Hope they play fair and haul her in to explain |

i think is funny that THAT is the one thing people took out of millions of women marching.... one taken out of context comment by one person!!!
well done... I salute you!!!!!
well done hand... well done...
I think the more interesting thing that happened yesterday was the narrative that trump is likely to put out...
and it was all started by one tweet that came from the new york times....
when things aren't going your way... put something out there they will try to distract people.... thats what trump tried to do at the CIA speech yesterday
we all know trump is obsessed with numbers.... he saw the numbers that went to the inaugeration were not as good as obama's.... he saw that the numbers of people marching yesterday were larger than his the day before...
even the neilsen figure he put in tweet saying this was the most watched inaugeration of all time was untrue (obama is 2009 was much larger)
thats why they put out the press secretary last night with the statements from the new administration.... and the amount of "untruths" (i am going to be charitable today and not call them lies) that trump and his minions were trying to spin yesterday, and most of the press have rightly gone after them for it
daily briefing number 2 tomorrow is going to be really interesting.....

I don't know why we in the UK should be bothered about what Trump say's or does Theresa May say's when she meets him she won't be scared to tell him when he's wrong.
Anybody got a American Football helmet to lend her so when he spits his dummy out AGAIN it doesn't hit her in the eye?. |

I know Trump is a thin skinned child, but O was surprised at how defensive his press secretary was. Like you say it's going to be interesting going forward. During the campaign focus was split between trump and clinton, now its time to govern, all eyes will be on trump and his tweets, mistakes, fuck-ups and lies. |

I don't think that Trump much cares abut what Theresa Maybe says or does not say. The 'special relationship' is only special for the UK. The US has and will continue to do what they think is in their interest alone
I am still waiting for the hordes of celebrities who vowed to leave the US if Trump came to power, to come with their billions and settle in the UK |

i think that it is interesting that Trump has gone after countries and talks about redressing the major trade inbalances.... like china, japan, mexico
but i do wonder have many people knew the UK actually a trade surplus with the US
so i wander with trump doing the big "america first" talking just what people expect is going to happen from any UK-US trade deal (still don't believe it will happen in the 2 year timescale a lot of leavers do.. but thats beside the point)
would it not be in trump's interest to "push back" in any trade deal? |

It would, And that is why I think that these 'talks' will be nothing more than an exchange of pleasantries
By the time the UK has finally figured out where they want to be within Europe, the Trump administration will already have got their framework pretty much set in stone |

Actually it would be in Trump's interest. He has publically backed Brexit, and is now on record as saying things like "The Uk was so smart in getting out of the EU" and "The Uk is doing great, the UK is in a great position" and "The people of the UK took their country back, its a great thing what the people did". Now if Brexit fails Trump is going to look very foolish on the world stage, after saying those things. Trump will want Brexit to be a success, so he can say "I told you so" to all the doubters. Trump will do his utmost to make sure Brexit is a success, and if that means giving the UK a good trade deal then that is what he'll do. His close Personal friend Piers Morgan said Trump told him he feels half British anyway (Scottish mother), and that Trump loves Britain. He has already asked for the bust of Winston Churchill to be returned to the oval office in the Whitehouse which Obama had removed, which is a very symbolic gesture of his intentions moving forward towards Britain. |

what a strange guy you seem to be? a man obsessed with Trump!!!

You do realise this thread is about the words & speech from Madonna stating she has wished more than once that she blew up the Whitehouse
this was not an off the cuff comment either, the speech was written, not a good speech but it was still written and prepared before hand
If you do not wish to comment on the topic of this thread, why not go and start your own thread regarding your obsession with Trump, of add to other threads with Trump as the topic in title, please keep this thread to the actions of Madonna's speech, there a good lad now. |

Madonna's words were reported thusly:
“Yes, I’m angry. Yes, I am outraged. Yes, I have thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House,” she said. “But I know this won’t change anything. We cannot fall into despair.”
That's not exactly a threat, is it? 'I've thought about doing something but I'm not going to do it' |

you can here her exact words on the links above
and her words may put ideas into others minds, people of her celebrity status have followers (even if she is shite) but she does still have many fans, some of these fans may try and please her by carrying out an attack
she is a silly old lady who possibly wrote this for the publicity and limelight |

The Mail article has the same words as I quoted.
Total fuss about nothing. No Madonna fan is going to read that and try and commit a terrorist act because that isn't what she's calling for. She expressly says it would do no good. |

there were comments on here from some of those in the 'brexit camp' that were downright disgusting, puerile and beyond decency and to be fair other's in the 'brexit camp' also rightly condemned them..
the levels that some stooped to along the lines of machine gunning the camp at Calais and hoping women and children drowned was reprehensible..
yes most of it was wind and piss but it was still freely said..
in a campaign where Trump has said many disgusting things and will make changes that will directly affect people's lives then yes people like madonna will react..
cause and effect..

jeez, you should work for the secret service, advise them; think of all the money you will save them
.
The Secret Service plans to open an investigation into Madonna after she stated during the Women's March On Washington that she has thought about "blowing up the White House."
While sporting a black p*ssyhat she also said the F-word four times, causing broadcasters to have to apologize since they were airing the broadcast live.
She talked about the rate she has felt over Trump being elected, saying that she had thought about "blowing up the White House" but knew that it "wouldn't change anything."
The final decision to prosecute will fall on the US Attorney's Office. The Secret Service has declined to comment on their investigation

I was watching the rugby yesterday.... they had to apologise 3 times during the game because of swearing.... i know... and at 3pm as well... disgusting!!!!!
and i dont think you have to blank out the word pussyhat....
in fact.... by doing it "hand" you denegrate the entire point of the protests......
one of the symbols of the demos were the pussyhats... because it was a direct shot at the language trump used! and i don't care if they were black, brown and primarily pink...
you like to dismiss everything that doesn't suit your narrative....
2.5 million women wearing pussyhats must have sent you aperpletic! |
