Why wasn't he a success? The US fared far worse than the U.K. from the financial crash of 2007/2008 and yet it recovered quicker than other countries and is now way ahead of the U.K. recovery.
Notwithstanding these obvious facts, President Obama has conducted himself with stellar dignity in his eight years in office and presented a face of the United States that is unimpeachable. In contrast, the Trumpster will enter the office with the stench and swirl of potential scandal, lies and deceit surrounding him. |

Obama was wrong on Brexit, Leave won the EU referendum remember. He foolishly backed the wrong side and lost. His statement that we'd be at the back of the queue for a trade deal was nonsense, Trumps team told Foreign secretary Boris Johnson on his visit to the States the other week that they want a uk/USA trade deal and fast so it sounds like we're being put at the front of the queue, completely the Opposite to what Obama said would happen. |

Promoted green and renewable energy but Obama has over seen the biggest rise in the fracking industry in the USA ever, the jury is still out on the environmental damage being done with fracking on such a large scale.
As for Obama behaving like an idiot, that is debatable. The guy acted like a clown during the EU referendum and is now having to eat his words that we'd be at the back of the queue for a trade deal.
I'd say by any measure, Obama has not been a success.

Interestingly enough the nearest we actually got to a presidential launch was Richard Nixon who had always favoured a lunch on Vietnam!.
In fact he was undermined by both his sectary of defence and the military who followed protocol.
