And economics guru Ashoka Mody says the UK is destined for a richer and fairer future after unshackling itself from the depressing decay of the failing Brussels project.
.
Now the question is, do Remainers agree with this or have you had enough of experts? |

It is good and very healthy for the country and everyone who lives in it to know that there is broad based expert opinion on both sides of the argument. Healthy debate and an appreciation of both sides of the Brexit debate make us all more rounded and better educated.
The main problem is that there is a preponderance for people on one side of the debate to hunt down the stories and information that feed their agenda and ignore the stories that suggest that their could be trouble ahead. We would all be able to debate the issues of the world far better if we were all open minded and read and took on board all aspects instead of the one story that feeds the personal agenda.
Personally speaking, I listen to both sides of the argument, make my opinion and plan for the eventuality that I think may come about which may or may not be aligned with what I would like to happen. |

So who are the preponderance of people on the one side is it remainers or leavers
I like you can see both sides of the arguement and plan and act accordingly
However i have my views as to which side is more culpable

An interesting article and the financial side seems reasonably sound if basically 'the pound was overvalued'. But I'm not quite sure I agree with the political statement:
"Through their vote to leave the European Union, the most vulnerable have given another opportunity to the Conservative Party rather than to a Government run by self-promoting and destructive extremists"
Which doesn't even make sense. If you take the view that the tories are *not* self promoting destructive extremists (Ha!) then who do they mean? UKIP? Well I would have thought that the majority of UKIP voters voted to leave (hint: clue is in the name).

What about you, you always seem to take the exact opposite view. You have constantly and consistently rubbished the not just the views of experts, but their very professions. So are you now saying that they are right, their profession is worthy of listening to, and they are experts? |

the only experts I have 'rubbished' over Brexit are economists who try to predict the future. I haven't listened to this 'expert'. He is simply saying what I have said all along. So does that make me an expert? So what about you? Or are you afraid to answer and disagree with an ewpert? |

So the experts in defence that said leaving the EU will weaken our defence are right in your eyes, and you just didn't care?
How about the experts in academia that said leaving the EU would be bad for our universities and research industries, they have already been proved right with a huge drop in uni applications, were they right, and yet again you didn't care?
How about the experts in policing and security who again said that leaving the EU would put the UK at risk. Were they right too? If so, why didn't you listen to them?
How about the environment experts who said that leaving the EU would be bad for the environment? I recall that being rubbished by the Leave side before the referendum, and yet we have already seen a whole government department scrapped, the Department for Energy and Climate Change. Were those experts right? |

They are all just opinions and none have been proved right yet.
Are you going to answer the question? |

No they are not just opinions, they are expert opinions. You say that none of them have been proved right, yet I have given examples above where they have already been proved right.
Its not unusual for experts in one subject area to disagree, however we have had someone unusual, virtually all experts in each subject area agreeing over Brexit, that its bad. Something that is completely unheard of, is for virtually Every expert in virtually Every subject area (just a few are named above), to all agree on a single decision. That whatever way you look at it, Brexit is bad.
So I still agree with the thousands of experts, from so many subject areas, that Brexit is a straight up shit idea. |

What do Cambridge University say about the prospects of the economy?
Do they think we will be in a better position post Brexit than if we hadn't left?
Or do they just say shit, but not as shit as Osborne said?
How about wage levels?
Inflation?

Actually i'll listen to experts to BOTH sides.......and it was an interesting article...
the difference is i don't use one set of thoughts and laud it to the high heavens and use it to suit a narrative..... and just completely dismiss the other side because it is expedient to do so.....
p.s don't think i have forgotten about you lauding a certain "Arlene Foster" because she agreed with you on brexit either... look what mess she is in now........ |

The researchers have toned down previous forecasts which they indicated were unduly pessimistic and said their new modelling was pessimistic but illustrative of what COULD happen.
So they aint gonna admit they were wrong are they? Just tone things down a bit as we go along. Coming soon - more toning down.
Oh and the Vice Chancellor Sir Leszek Boryslewicz reaffirmed that Cambridge will maintain its position as a global leader in research and teaching, just in case anyone was worried |

"They won't admit it because the consensus is it is going to be bad, it is just the time frame. "
ye but the concensus was that it was going to be badder than it was and now its going to be less badder than they thought its going to be and we'd better extend the time frame in the hope that people forget what we've said and don't realise that we're badder than we're supposed to be considering all the expensive edukashun we've had and the fact we've got fuck all else to do all day |

Yet more anti-education, expert bashing from people who couldn't be bothered to get an education for themselves. This is getting a bit tedious now. |
