I think a more interesting question would be have you ever read an in depth opposing view that it didn't happen or didn't happen to modern views.... I've actually read a few of those books and it's very very interesting how you react to reading stuff you disagree with. |

I often find myself reading much more of the opposing views on subjects that interest me.
For me it started off with climate change, where I was reading lots and lots of the deniers side of it, I wanted to see what was driving they're philosophy of denial....I think a small part of it is not wanting to be in with the mainstream way of group thinking, and there's a certain amount of evangelicalism with it!.
Wading through the conflicting data on both sides often leads you to confusion of the subject, often it's about you and not the data, changing your own perceptions of the world is much much harder |

Six years ago David Goldberg wrote that much of the anti-semitic and Holocaust-denial literature available worldwide in Arabic originates from Saudi Arabia and that these 'texts' are being used in muslim weekend clubs and schools in the UK.
Saudi Arabia has been the new home of Nazi ideology for some years now and it is successfully spreading it's racist filth throughout the world without hindrance from Western politicians.

It's nothing new unfortunately and not singled out to Islam.
The catholic church and the Vatican aligned itself with Nazi Germany in an awful way in the 30s and 40s, culturally we never really recovered from it |
