I know how we all like to disagree on the politics forum, but I think one thing we can agree on is that it's not a quite time in politics. Be it Brexit, the the high court and supreme court cases, Labour and UKIP leadership elections, by-elections etc, there is a lot going on. However, is it just me, or are we seeing and hearing very little from the PM and also the leader of the opposition? I can't think of another time that there was so much going on, with so little coming from the leader of either of the 2 main parties.

We only hear what the media report.

I don't think May has been particularly quiet. Corbyn has made a few speeches recently.

You know the old saying about what to do if you've got nothing good to say????

May is probably busy talking with other world leaders and is probably wise to stay out of all the petty squabbling going on at the moment. And the bush in Corbyn's front garden has apparently now completely covered his front door, making leaving the house nigh on impossible, hence his absence at PMQ's today

Part of the reason might be that because theres so much going on its harder for the leaders to get airtime if their not saying anything new.

Theres a limited amount of airtime/print space for all the issues and events. Even websites are limited by what they choose for their journalists to spend time on.
